Satisfied with the mercato. In the winter market, it's all about being solid, not making too many drastic changes, like in the summer. I think that's exactly what we've seen, a solid mercato. Super happy with the signing of Sturaro in particular, and Matri is a nice addition in attack that we can rely on. Matri always did well for us, has been doing well for Genoa recently, and Max knows exactly how to use him. Sorting a deal out for Rugani (for next season) was also a great move!

Don't know so much about the youngsters we've brought in, but I trust Paratici and Marotta completely when it comes to young players. Anyone know anything about Tello?

On a serious note I agree with Jem. This has been a good mercato and you don't need to change much during the winter if things have been working splendindly, favorable results have been obtained so far, most half year objectives are met and even the biggest cynics cannot find many reasons to be unsatisfied. We are making progress with each passing year, sportwise and financially.

Not selling our big stars helped.

Our board says often they look for opportunities. They tried, we got outbid which is normal because we can't spend as heavily as the oil clubs. It happens.
