thats a ridiculous assertion, lets see how much bayern spent over the last 4 years in transfers, of course disregarding wages, and how much more we should have spent to win the CL
lol indeed. It's silly to compare such teams, not so long ago Roma was a rubbish team under Sensi. They had to spend a bunch of money to build a foundation, just like we did when we came to Serie A. It's very retarded to compare it just by seeing two trees while ignoring the whole forest.

It was a response to Suns claims that if only Sabatini had the money to play with that Marotta does, he would have done this and that better. My point being the difference is not really that big between the two.

I still believe that apart from Romulo(-2) and losing Immobile, we had a great (8/10)transfer window so far...
The board has obviously imposed most of the limitations we are dealing with, history will proove if they were right to do so, or if they are just milking Juve's name,
but at any case, its their money, their club, their decision and they dont want us a big club with international appeal anymore.
Our tiny stadium speaks by itself, yes we could become better, yes we good buy better players with the ammount we have spent, but we simply dont want to!!
And Marotta cannot be held responsible for this, he was ordered to act like that, actually, he was hired for this very reason...
Moving around in mediocrity
, Marotta has managed to become a bit more efficient, he started to make some decent profit from sales!
Nonsense. Owners that have no ambition to make their company (one of the best in the world in this industry) perform on higher level. That's gotta be the first time I'm hearing something like this. But I'm sure you're not the only one here with this distorted view.

As for the stadium, we'd all have liked 60k seater and going by our recent figures it would have been the right thing to do. But it is little difficult to justify that need to the creditors when you average attandance was around 30k for most of the last decade, even when we were at our peak.

how would all this silverware be here without pogba, llorente, tevez, barza, licht and pirlo

do you even brain, suns? do you?
A lot of those don't count because they were free transfers, or not very expensive ones.

Suns and his ilk only want big, brand new and expensive shiny toys. "look at how big my dick is" type transfers.

Well the thing is Roma wasn't able to hold on to a few very promising players that went away aka Marquinhos, Lamela, and Pjanic probably next. Juve is a more attractive destination to begin with so you can say that made Marotta's job a little easier.

Their first "ambition" is profit. They're setting Juve up to become profitable in the long run which means Marotta needs to be more careful when he decides to spend 20 mill a pop on bench players.

Im not sure its a matter of Roma not being able to hold on to the likes of Lamela and Marquinhos if they really wanted to. I just think Sabatini saw an opportunity to sell a pair of good players for very good money, and invest some of that money in players that quite easily would fill their shoes, which he did to perfection. Neither Lamela or Marquinhos were worldbeaters, like say Vidal is for us.

Is that any different from what I've said? But like you noticed return in the long run is the key part here. To achieve that objective Juve will have to record growth in that period. Basically continuation of what we've been doing till now and that is contrary of what Cronios claims, that our goal is to move around in mediocrity.
