Marotta should have found a way for Juventus to win the lottery and buy Ronaldo.

He should be fired for trying to improve the club within a budget. He should have ignored our limitations, tied Agnelli to a chair, demanded exorbitant amount of funds, signed Ronaldo and bankrupted the club.

Then Conte would be happy. Then he would stay! Our glorious Conte who literally just quit in one of the worst times possible but it's not his fault. It's Marotta's fault for gradually improving the club every year.. I guess?

Lol, stop trying. There's too much aspergers in this forum for posts like this to stand a chance, sadly.

Mike, right now it's all assumptions of course. Why do you think Conte left? (It hurts to even say this now. I still can't believe this is real.)

Do you think he intended to fuck us up with his timing?

I can't definitively say you're wrong.

I mean, Conte cried for strikers. Marotta gave him Tevez and Llorente for 9M fucking euros. The result was that we could not advance past the group stage vs. Mancini's Galatasaray.

Conte's answer is to put none of the blame or responsibility on himself but instead to put the board under tremendous pressure and put them in such a difficult position, trying to improve the team and keep this petulant coach happy.

How many world class players does he need Marotta to provide him for pennies on the dollar? Pirlo, Barzagli, Pogba, Vidal, Tevez. What's the cost there? 20M?

Conte cost the team 25M alone by getting 1 win in 4 matches vs. a team in Denmark and Gala.

44m for Vidal is a 'stratospheric' offer :agree:

If I were coach and saw that Sanchez went to Arsenal for that amount and we are spending way much more on Iturbe and Morata I would too resign. Then comes the entire thing about selling Vidal and not a single word being said about it, instead Marotta goes on vacation.

This I agree with. Conte clearly had his faults. But why now? Why not earlier when he could still get a job?

Would it surprise me if Conte turned out to be vindictive? No. That's his personality. He's a fierce person. We know his demands on the transfer market are irrational. He was talking about Suarez.

Of course, selling Vidal is not a GOOD thing. It's just not. I will not be happy if he's sold and neither should Conte. No one should be happy.

Does it give Conte an excuse to quit though? Well that's up for everyone to decide on their own I guess.

If Vidal is sold for that pitiful amount and Marotta is behind it then he's gone and undone all the good work I and many others gave him credit for.

Sorry, I'm one of his biggest supporters but this is indefensible if true.

It's got to be Vidal, Jack. It's got to be.

You can't blame a coach who wants to go places with the club and the same club sells his best player. You just can't. What does that say to the other players?
