Exactly. It's some kind of fetish with buying those close-to-30 strikers. They get nice salary which they can't get elsewhere due to age. Matri is the only exception but you have to thank bbilan for that they gave him better salary than he was getting here and he was in so poor form for a long time.
This is kinda true. Imagine those excuses in the summer that there's no money for big signings while we'll spend at least 15m for Osvaldo while we could just bring back Immobile after the season ends and save up a lot of money.
When there's no talents available people complain about our youth sucking donkey balls. When there are young players performing in Serie A there's always an excuse not to bring them back. Immobile is in perfect age and situation to come back here imo. This is how you find a new Lewandowski, not by buying some troublemaker reject from EPL.
Why not? He's made a huge step forward this season. Why do you think he'd prefer to stay there while he could be here competing for scudetto and playing in CL? Better salary, better team, better coach and so on. The club should think a bit more forward too imo. Lloretne is not exactly young and by the time he'd leave/hit the bench you would have a relatively young and proved forward to take his place.
The management should consider bringing back Immobile. While we can argue about Berardi who is still very young and Gabbiadini who is a bit inconsistent - Immobile has everything to be brought back.

Recalling youngsters now mid-season makes no sense. They need time to adjust to their new team and the new environement of a top-club, and that time just isn't there in January. And who says that our management isn't planning on loaning Osvaldo 'till the summer to bring back some young forwards then? That would be a really smart move IMO.
Because of what I said earlier. Look how many minutes our strikers got so far after 21 rounds in league, Coppa, CL:
Vucinic 479, Giovinco 447, Quag 654 minutes.
Why should he come here at the moment when he's developing to play around 500 minutes after so many matches? In Torino he has like triple of those minutes. Wages, CL competition (where he wouldn't even play) has nothing to do with this.

You can forget about Immobile, done deal as he was promised to Torino. Agreement might be verbal one, but we've established good relations with our city rival and we're not about to compromise that over a youngster. We'll probably have few other dealings with them next summer; Cerci.

This team has the foundation, what we need in June are quality players that can lead the team. I liked Marotta's concept from last summer when he added just three players: Tevez, Nando and Ogbonna. IMO this is the right strategy. We have enough depth players, now it's time to add more quality and fight for CL next year.
