Actually, King is right. Asamoah was half-bought with requirement to buy the other 50%. Not a loan at all. Peluso, however was a loan with option to buy which we exercised. At 5 million though and as a squad signing, I really don't mind that. SO I suppose it has happened 5 times in 4 years where we have bought after a loan. And only Matri cost anything susbtantial.
I say that many would disagree, i am not the one who said that none other that the loan deals (with an option to buy) that only happened in the first year were finalised.
so my point still stands...
Esp with Peluso, who was a player that really didnt impressed, but his acquisition still proves that such options still have the mandatory-to-buy-clause...
