But that has never been the argument for keeping Matri, atleast not for me. They are both mediocre, the reason I want to keep Matri is that he is infinitely better at stretching defences than Quags, which in turn gives our really talented players more space and more options.

His touch is pretty poor, no denying it.

But he is a great player to use when counter attacking. His movement and positioning is still top notch, you could see be thrived under Delneri's tactics. Yes it's true that under Conte we rarely counter attack (successfully anyway), but maybe it's a tactic and an idea we can use when facing superior teams.

Both players gave their everything when juventus was in shambels, all the way to helping it restore it current self. They have helped quite a bit along the way actually.
They played their part, and now we are at the point where we can wave goodbye and get a striking force thats qualitywise as good as the other area's of the pitch.

We should not disrespect them.

i'm not direspecting them. they dont belong at juventus even as a bench option. same with DC as well

i am only going to have issues with them if they pull an amauri and refuse to move

guys like llorente would be good being the bench option. he's not sloving our goal scoring problems

guys like gomez, suarez, lewandowski, madzukic..etc. should be first choice as an example.

Thats an ignorant statement, and you know it !

Matri and quag played a ton of games, scored and assisted goals. they arent juventus pedigree, but they would be decent or better for most italian teams

De Ceglie on the other hand, is a horrific liability that costs goals every game he plays, and quite frankly shouldnt be at juventus.

I really prefer someone like Padoin. Knows what he can and cant. And because of that, never really costs goals nor makes them. excellent reliable squadplayer

I like Quag better than Matri

but you have to be realistic about it and say that we need Matri a lot more than Quags, even though I'd sell the midget before either of them.
