wow. some of you guys need to stop posting.

now i am not saying it was right of him to so, but the point i wznt to make is that pre calciopoli del piero for two seasons was seen a a bench option under cappello. that's how strong our forward line was.

so the next time you think about calling me a troll because i said llorente should be a good bench player and matri and quag dont belong in juve you should maybe use your brain and have some respect.

This is utter bullshit right there.
Without taking credit of Ibra, who always has been a good footballer in terms of performance...... Capello had a vendetta against Del Piero and everyone knew that, there were times were Ibra was being utter shit for us and Del Piero was benched for no reason, and was just used as a "please save my ass " option for Capello.

yes we had a good striker force with zlatan trez and DP, but do not twist that to make it look that DP was benched solely on footballing reasons.

not the point. but i'll humor you.

even if the situation was revered. one of trez or zlatan would have been the bench option. and they both are much much better than llorente.

yeah, messi is giften a ton of chances because its barcelona

llorente was at lolbilbao. where are they now ? right
Add to that, that arguing a player is cack because he is not as good as Messi, is pretty lame itself. I mean, sure him scoring 25 goals per season in Bilbao does not mean he will bang in 20+ at his first season here, but i have seen quite a bit of Llorente action in the Bilbao-shirt, and i was sure he would go to United or Barca... He was in that group of players i really wanted, and i can't wait to see him in our jersey! :lick:

messi scored more and he is discredited because la liga defenders suck.

the same rules apply
That's BS and I don't know how that makes your argument valid that he should be a bench players.

If he plays well and better than the others he'll be a starter if not he'll be a bench player, time will tell, lets wait for December to atleast judge him.

indeed. apparently not rating someone as first team material equates to trolling around here.

some people here though. mainly the aussie and scandanavian memebers dont understand what it means to have different opinions

i dont expect him to sell some of the later three, just get rid of them.
As for MAtri/Martinez/Quaq, they are decent solutions for average teams, many Italian team are in a tough financial moment, that cannot afford any better players, so they should settle with them.
Many of them are in the position we were when we got them. Esp the forwards were not total disasters, just not Juve material, but still good enough for an average team.
Of course no one is so stupid to buy them at the price we did, but we should at least recover half of it...
