We can't afford it, yet! Perhaps in 3 years, we might get there. However, we will eventually be at that level (hopefully).

However, just because we can't buy guys like Falcao, Cavani, and Suarez doesn't mean we should settle for shitbags like Osvaldo and Diamanti. These players should never be considered, not even as a last resort. You end up being stuck with them, no one wants them, and you can't even sell them at a loss, because no one wants to take on their wages/can't afford them.

We can afford a 25-30m player every year but we seem obligated to spread the wealth to teams like Atalanta and the rest of the Italian BS teams.
