I believe we were forced to sell Baggio to accommodate Del Piero. I think he might have also had some issues with Lippi. As for Vieri, we got a really good offer from Atletico Madrid, an offer that was too good to refuse, and since Vieri was only thrown into the spotlight and excelled as a result of injuries to both Del Piero and Boksic (who were our starting duo that season), we thought we could do well without him, since he was a relative unknown, exploding onto the scene in both Serie A and the CL after joining us from Atalanta. We did replace Vieri with Inzaghi though. I remember not being too happy about that, as I never liked or rated Inzaghi, that rat faced fuck.

Amoruso and Vieri that season (96-97 season that is) reminded me of the partnership of Yorke and Cole in later years at United, albeit without the longevity factor. Both Vieri and Amoruso stepped in to deputize for Boksic and Del Piero respectively, and we had a stellar season, reaching the CL final, and reclaiming our Serie A title from Milan, even though Boksic and Del Piero were frequently injured during that period.

Before everything, the board, and coaching staff should sit togheter and decide on the team they want to build for next season.

Then we'll see from there. But vidal is our best midfielder, so he's untouchable under 40mil. as in, no one will pay 40 mil.

There was no trouble between Baggio and Lippi at that point, when Lippi became our manager in the summer of '94 he said he had wanted to make Juve less 'Baggio-dependent'. Which was a fair enough statement, Baggio left because supposedly he refused to take a pay cut.

The bad blood between them didn't start until they both ended up at Inter in 1999.

Officially the most points we've ever had was last year with 84.

If you include 2005/06, which you should, the record is 91.

If we win our next 6 games we'd have 92.

Can Marotta succeed in trolling a bunch of Juventus legends?
