The Great Man :touched:

Buying quality strikers since 2010 :howler:
:howler:

Lets bring back Secco shall we? Or perhaps Moggi and he can ruin the club all over again.

Do people realise the appeal of Serie A has slipped dramatically in the last decade. How difficult it is to attract top players from other leagues?

Milan signed a mentally unstable 22 year old and al of a sudden they've mastered a successful transfer campaign.

Wake up guys, they're not even in the CL qualifying spots and they have a seriously weak team that'll be out the the CL this February

No one is saying that, but overlooking his limitations and praising him all the time is sickening, revolting, and disgusting.

Comparing him to Moggi? :howler:
Yeah, its idiotic to compare him with Moggi. Moggi was a SD of Juventuswhen Serie A was the strongest league by far, furthermore he was the SD of the richest club in that league.

The man is given a budget, Conte for the most part will tell him what players he wants, and he acts on these orders.

If a player is over our transfer budget, its Marotta' s fault, if a player Conte has chosen has a string of poor performances, its Marotta's fault. I just find it ridiculous how people on here can put so much of the blame squarely on his shoulders.

Padoin,Giacch and Peluso were signings sanctioned by Conte.

Marotta on the other hand brought in Llorente,Vidal,Licht,Asamoah etc without Conte's consent..True story :numnum:

The last few pages are even blaming Marotta for our limited winter transfer budget. Like he allocates it himself :lol2:

i like this marotta discussion. some do not give marotta credit for rebuilding our squad, while others do not accept the big mistakes 'the big man' have made. all hail "im right" rather than nuances!

whether or not marotta is our man in the coming years, will pretty much show next season. can he take this squad to the next level or will he again settle with mediocrity, especially in the attacking department?

anywho..

"conte is the man behind the teams success" :sergio:

"conte asked for peluso etc. not marottas fault" :sergio:

"marotta got us llorente, wat a signing, shows marottas class" :sergio:

"marotta got lucky with vidal, pirlo, barzagli" :sergio:

hopefully some of u get the picture.

And then there are those who want you to take a side, either hate his guts or you are a member of the so called societè.

I don't hate him, but I'm not going to hail him either. He has done well thus far, but there are obvious flaws, and whereas he has padded the squad with depth and built a strong core (including an impressive defensive unit and a solid midfield), he has bought in unnecessary players and failed to address the team's biggest weakness.

The crisis here falls onto conte, not marotta.

Marotta is not on the sideline when we concede a goal after taking a lead, it's conte. His fault and no one else's right now.
