If he doesn't get at least 1 decent striker in January he is an idiot and should be fired. FACT!

I still maintain that despite some good business for his failures if he were at a top club in the Premiership he would be sacked for incompetence.

Don't know how anyone can defend him if we don't bring in a striker.
Some valid opinions you have there, if there was a petition for you to be our next transfer director I would sign it in the blink of an eye, you seem legit.

Red, what is your opinion on Marotta's tenure so far at Juve?
He's done very well.

Not getting a good CF in is, of course, a black mark against his name, but he hasn't done much wrong beyond that.

Where's Buck to give one of his useful explanations of the difference between a fact and an opinion?

We will probably end up with either Immobile or Gabbiadini. I just hope that it'll be enough for us to retain our title and avoid embarrassment against Celtic in the CL (we should win that tie 99 times out of 100).

The lack of a clinical striker has really cost us in the last couple of games :scared:

Well it's obvious we lacked a striker from the Summer, it's still obvious now it's January that we lack a striker.

Clearly logic tells you if you can't resolve the problem despite having time and money and 2 attempts then you're not doing your job properly.

I don't expect a Falcao or Cavani but just somebody that will at least be an upgrade on the hopeless Matri and inconsistent Giovinco.

Also, yes I know I used capitals well done for pointing that out, if I ever need you point out any other instances of capitalisation in the future I'll be sure to give you a shout.

we have a ucl winning team bar the strikers..for 30 mils he could change that plus having no stress winning the coppa and the league. this mistake can cost him much...everyone sees that juve needs a good forward but him. it's incredible.... it's something like 'what's this?'

The guy who purchased Carroll, Adam and Downing for Liverpool is still in a job is he not?

EDIT: oh and we're still top of the league, finished top of the group in the CL and just knocked Milan out of the Coppa Italia.

Facts

I see that you have the same intelligence as the average football fan in London.
Also, if he was at a topclub in the epl, he would have a gazillion oildollars to buy what the fuck he wants, without budgetting.

Yep and all true facts, however Liverpool in terms of competing for the title and challenging for major honours are no longer a top club and won't be for some time whilst the Brendan Rodgers revolution is taking place.

Juve are doing great this season, never disputed that but in the Champions League to give us a better chance of success an improvement on our current strikeforce is needed. Even if we didn't improve we could of course still do well but will much tougher so when the problem is obvious and can be addressed it should be.

Wow you could not have insulted me anymore, I infact do not have the 'same intelligence as the average London football fan' for a start I don't support a Premiership team over here like the majority of fans from London do. I support Charlton Athletic in the Championship and Im damn proud of that, and having followed them for years I have knowledge of the Championship, League 1 and even some of League 2, the kind of leagues that the 'average London football fan' will barely have any understanding of not looking beyond their beloved Premiership which btw I do also have a knowledge of.

Supporting Juventus means I have a big interest and knowledge of Serie A and I also try and follow La Liga, I also hold interest in the other world leagues like MLS and Russia. Onto me personally I hold a degree in journalism and am paid to write and know about football in a number of different places for a number of different companies. Ive been to see Juventus play in Italy good number of times, seen football of all levels in England, been to see Barcelona play etc. all well beyond what the 'average fan' would do so I hope next time you think before you criticise someone's credentials and I hope you take that comment back because I find it so insulting when Im as dedicated to football as I am and yes I do get defensive over it as you can tell, perhaps you'd like to now share your credentials?

Yeah, that is all words, yet you come into this thread, attacking marotta in the most dumb way, that can only remind me of a braindead brittish supporter.

Do you know anything about juventus at all ?
We had to make big financial sacrifices, despite not having bought that striker, we turned big fucking deficits. This is not la liga were banks bail you out, or epl where idfk how man utd got they massive dept.
Go read shit up in the financial topic. the board is working hard to increase turnover, and wants to be break even next season. Marotta tries to work with a limited budged, and very limited wages.
SO NO, we arent just going to trow another 30 mil at a player, fuck no.
AND NO, we NEVER buy a striker in the extremely inflated wintermercato, unless all the strikers are underpeforming or injured for the season like 2 years ago.

fucks sake, we miss chiellini and asamoah, thats our massive left flank right over there. we miss marchisio, and vucinic is struggeling to get match fit because he allways need to come on whilst he should be recovering his ancle injury, because giovinco cannot decide games on his own.

this team with those players, and a fit vucinic, was raping the serie a, raped its way to grouplead in the hardest CL group.
We are now in a tough timeperiod, where the wrong players are missing. Conte and the entire team knows. Fans with a brain know. YOU should fucking goddamn know.

Don't worry about Zac. He's all about breaking even, redheads, and power lifting. Perhaps he forgot to take his "special shake" today, and as a result is feeling a bit more hostile and antagonistic :D
I'm actually in an euphoric state after finally been able to train, and didnt felt any pain in the right rotatorcuff anymore, resulting in a good form 5rep max squat, and nearly managed to repeat my 3repmax bench record.
