Is it so hard for everyone to take a step back, look at where this team was 3 years ago (old, no depth, fractured wage scale, limited youth potential), and look at this team now (Younger, deeper, balanced books, signing young talents every year) and just say to yourself "Are there that many situations right now in Italy and Europe that have it better than us?"
Is it so hard to be happy and yet not be satisfied with where this club is? ANd don't you think for one moment, that the entire Juventus orginization feels the exact same way? That we have come a very long way in a short period of time over the past 3 years, but we still have a ways to go? And isn't it reasonable to think that with a club that does not have unlimited funds, to find themselves in the position they are in right now, has done a great job in climbing the ranks again?
It's amazing sometimes when I read the "yeah buts, yeah buts" on this forum, but whenever I watch TV, or listen to Satellite radio, that whenever the name Juventus comes up, they marvel at what this club has accomplished in the past 2 1/2 seasons, and they bring up the fact that they have built this type of squad without a blank checkbook a la Man City, or PSG. This is still a work in progress. The best of this squad have yet to be seen. It's really startling when you see where this squad was at the end of the 2009-2010 season, and where they are now.
I understand everyone's desire to see this team improve, but you can't tell me that they haven't improved the quality and depth of this squad even in comparison to this time last year. This team is getting better and better every single season. I don't think anyone can deny that.
