Isla is a co-ownership, bro. The second half value hasn't been finalised or determined. If Isla has a so-so two years here I can't see us paying another €9m for that half.

I just think that the Isla deal will be similar to the Motta/Pepe deals, Marotta won't break his gentelmen agreement with Udinese.

I've never doubted Isla's abilities altough i think he's somehow overrated around here, the thing is that we alredy had great depth at the right side ( Licht, Caceres, Pepe...) and no matter how you look at it, there won't be enough games for both Isla and Licht, Conte will not play Licht a game and Isla the next games, it doesn't work like that. At the end of day one of the two will have to sit on the bench.

There are a lot of ifs and buts, but the fact is that the Cesena-goal was absolutely vital in winning the scudetto. In hindsight, all of the goals scored that season were, but there was just something about the timing of that goal. It was a bleak afternoon, we didn't look like scoring after Pirlo's penalty miss, and that goal came out of nowhere. It was the first time I really believed that we could win the scudetto (but I was a huge pessimist last season).
