I dont troll, i have an opinion! There is a difference there, my opinion is steady, unchanged by the years and i can provide arguments for my POV, the trolls though can only work as B81 described...
And I wonder now who is the sport director that is succeeding in bringing top players. I know it sounds exactly like when people were asking for Ranieri's head and I was wondering who to replace him, I was against Zaccherroni, against Del Neri and even against Conte. I was not against Ferrara the last two games but I wasn't sure of him. And look how it turend out to be, all failed except for Conte who was a gamble that succeeded. I know many would say he wasn't a gamble and they already knew the potential but the fact remains that he surprised, impressed and bossed with style. Now are you willing to take your chances from one director to another UNTIL that one director that can surprise, impress and boss is found? You know the director's work can be seen twice a year, a manager's work can be judged the entire season. This makes changing directors a very lengthy process.
Thats a vallid point, yes Marotta is crap, but considering the incompetence of the higher management and their record, chances are that they can do worse than Marotta...
But sometimes we do have to take a risk though, Marotta got us as far as he can do, we have nothing to lose now, even with lesser players coming, our core is there and solid under Conte.
It is the best moment to try for a change, we are now champions again, in a supreme place among the other Italian teams, we can attract better names than we could when we got Marotta.

And to ensure we cant go wrong, keep him as his serie A assistant and if the new guy fails, we would at least have Marotta to boost from.

Possibly, Sampdoria had him in place to replace Marotta, they were pretty pissed when Marotta took him with him.

Anyway, he is very good at what he does, but has no experience in the top level negotiations that we would be talking about.

Let's say we dont give this guy a new contract. Who out there is qualified to take over his job??
In an ideal world no one comes close to Cronios.

It seems that Marotta is kicking ass in that aspect.

Why? do you know Paratici will be a success and bring you the players you want?
Not the players i want, but the players we need, i think he has a great eye for talent, isn't afraid to buy outside of Italy, highly rated worldwide. Any one other Marotta really because i'm fed up with his repeated failures.

And you Jack, what do you think, should we keep Marotta or we should be looking for his replacement come next summer ??

Replacing Marotta should be an option only if we can get someone from a top club, no point in replacing him with somebody from a smaller club who will again need a few years to get used to the position.

marotta's moves this year have all been spot on. The top striker simply wasnt available so I dont blame him too much there.

And you know all that about Paratici from?

I don't demolish my house before I know what to build instead and if I have what it takes to build it. The same thing, I don't sack just for the sake of sacking, bring me an a plan and I am ready to look up on it. You would accept anyone ahead of Marotta at this point of time only because you are frustrated and angry after the mercato, you were not angry up to the point when we got Lucio. And I remember you were one of those who was picky on the transfer targets, look at us now.

I agree with your point, it's not up to me to come up with the plan to replace Marotta, and i can't see us not extending his contract to be honest, but in my opinion he's not good enough to lead this club and he's repeated failures can only cement my stance, he doesn't have a strategy, look at all the strikers we were linked to and how he panicked at end and went for Bnedtner.
I've been picky on the transfer targets because at the start of the Mercato i believed there's no way Marotta won't sign a good striker, he said that and admitted that we are looking for quality and our biggest need is a striker so i had hope that he had a plan only to be fooled by him and sign Bendtner.

Juve legends doubt Bendtner

Ex-Juventus stars Gianluca Vialli and Alessio Tacchinardi disagree over whether Nicklas Bendtner is a good buy for the Bianconeri.

The Dane arrived on loan from Arsenal on transfer deadline day after weeks of links with Edinson Cavani, Robin Van Persie, Fernando Llorente, Stevan Jovetic, Didier Drogba and more big names.

“Bendtner isn’t a bad player per se, but he won’t allow the team to make that step up in quality,” argued Tacchinardi on Sky Sport Italia.

“He’s certainly a decent striker, but as a fan I’d have preferred to see a different forward join Juventus.”

His former teammate Vialli was more generous towards the ex-Gunner.

“I’d give Juve eight out of ten for their transfer strategy, as really top players were too expensive to buy. The Bianconeri got Kwadwo Asamoah and Mauricio Isla, who in terms of quality compared to cost are the bargains of the summer.

“At times Bendtner can seem like a phenomenon, as he has great self-belief and tries very difficult moves. In Italy he can make the most of his courage and physicality, but if he wants to stand out for his quality, then he’s chosen the wrong League.

“I believe Antonio Conte will know how to use him best. Besides, even without a top player in attack, Juve can still win the Scudetto again.

“This will be a Champions League year for them to gain experience ahead of next season.”

I guess Vialli, along with Marotta, doesn't know what he is talking about either.

So why sign "any" random attacker out there ? Or to be more precise (whoever is available and his club doesn't want him) !

That pile of average players we keep getting (for absolutely no reason) every year is getting bigger and bigger.

It's simple, IF YOU DON'T FIND ANY QUALITY PLAYER TO ADD THEN DON'T SIGN ANYONE.

But you know what, Marotta will keep signing those average players every year. This trend won't stop.
