I'm not asking to sign 11 players with high wages, it's just one. A striker wich represented a necessity.

We'll agree to disagee hust, i think for the " right price" clubs will listen, sometimes you have to overpay to get " the player ", it's a risk worth taking, we would completed what could be an awesome team capable of competing on every front.

Ok, let me give you a scenario: (I'm drunk, can't believe I'm this coherent)

Ok, would it be good business to forgo depth considering 3 completions just to have that top player?

Does it make more sense to you to risk fatigue and injuries just to have a goal scorer? You speak of risks to spend the money but does if matter when you don't have strength on the bench to rest our top players?

I will take the collective unit for a solid team in 95% of the starting 11 over 1 top player that could snap a knee ligament in his first game. Who knows.

Would you want to fire/not extend his contract even if we win the Scudetto?
I don't want to fire him, but I don't want to extend his contract. Ranieri was a good coach for us, but he was never going to take us to the next level, that leap in quality that was required. Marotta is the Ranieri of sporting directors. He might build you a solid team, with many good components, but he can't seem to negotiate for the top players, or close the big deals. The bottom line is, unless we unearth a couple of gems ourselves, he's not going to get us any real quality in attack.

You can't fit a square peg through a round hole, cheese.

36m for Llorente in last year of contract was not reasonable.

City would not sell without buying(Dzeko)

RVP wanted to stay and for the 50-60m for a 30 year old is just not smart and Juve knew that I think.(what Pado said)

Suarez renewed

Everyone here bitched about pazzini so sleep in your own bed, you made it.

Strikers by nature cost more, are overvalued and hard to find.

We tried for Jovetic but viola rejected.

Berbatov wanted something else, so as red said we could have dodged a bullet there
This.

Cheese and B81, what I want you to do, is turn on your printers and print this out. Then I want you to put it on your walls and read it at least once a day.

Thanks in advance.

the FW line is not weak, just incomplete.

provincial is a joke of a statement.
It's not merely incomplete. That's a huge understatement. I don't rate Matri, and Quag is as good as done. Those guys should be 4'th choice at a club like Juventus. Giovinco had a stellar season @ Parma, but I have serious doubts about him. Bendtner is absolute garbage. That leaves us with Vucinic as the only quality component in attack.

Excuses. Excuses Jem. I'm not working for Juventus, but Marotta gets paid a fuckton of money to close these types of deals. If you are applying for a job, do you just give up, or keep trying until you can get a decent one that matches your requirements and qualifications? ;)

We spent more than Madrid two years in row IIRC. :sergio:
.....It's all relative. Real Madrid have been building a fantastic squad for years, we are at the second or third stage now. They don't need to spend what we do. In the next breath you'll then complain because we haven't spent €30m+ on the striker we need.

Real Madrid's squad cost €450m, plus their wage bill of €150m p/a.

In comparison our squad cost €200m (of which €50m was for Buffon 11 years ago) plus a wage bill of around €100m p/a.

Since 2006 I stopped understanding the "at a club like juventus" or "we are juventus" arguments.

True, we are juventus but the sooner you all come to terms with the fact we aren't even close to pre-2006 juventus the better.

We don't have that pull anymore, not yet a anyways. We need to earn that back by consistency in Italy and CL. FFS we just got back into CL after a massive blotch in our history. Being the "juventus" you and all of us want will take some time.

I remember like 3-4 years ago camoranesi said it will take juventus 10 years to be back to the pre-2006 juventus. Deal with it guys, this will take time and patience

You sound like Milan fans:D

You just think you're coherent because you are drunk.

Try reading some of the gibberish you've written when you sober up. :sergio:
What gibberish? I thought I was on a roll?

:rab: :dule: You did make sense :D

I just beg to differ with regards to the quality (or lack thereof) we have in attack. Look at our defense and midfield ;)
