I don't know what to tell you. All I know is that a player at 31 who is being offered a starting spot to still keep playing for one of the elite teams in Europe at the highest level should have no problems being sold on that idea.

Giroud will fail.
You say that as if there are not other factors like a wife, children in school a home built in a country for the last 6 years. Players and their families have a lot to think about it's not as easy as you all make it seem

Not my points, when Milan had the money they got the players they wanted. Usually their first option not the 5th or 6th.
they got who they wanted and didnt win shit except for 1 Scudetto via Ibra.

Im sorry, but if you go back to the few months leading up to this mercato, we all agreed, the main challenge for Marrotta would be to get us that one wc player, upfront. Then we debated that wc was relative. We spoke about vidal and asamoah type players who are not categorised as wc or have those price tags. But we continued to agree that was the need of the hour. The ONE deal that was priority over all others has not been completed despite the glaring relevance it has to our chances in Europe.

If signing Bemdtner is his answer for us, then we judge him by those parameters coz that's e primary task we gave him. The concept of it is as simple as that. He had time. He had money. He had success. He a new stadium. He had the backing of his chairman and the plasma tv. There is NO excuse. Absolutely none. It's what you would do to Ranieri if he qualified you two years running for the CL. Youd replace him with somebody who could take you to the next level. Marrotta will be judged in two days but if it ends up like it looks like it will, then he is clearly out of his depth and for me there are no two ways about it. This is as far as he can take us. We don't need 10 new players next season. We'll need the same quality players next season. Our revenue model won't be any different. Nor will our wage structure. We may not have the same level of success to talk about. So I don't see his job get any easier than this. Thats how this situation seems to come across.
I've invested enough time over the internet explaining to everyone why a quality goalscorer is imperative to this mercato and this Juventus, I would be very disappointed if he does not deliver. Three summers, and nothing to replace Trezeguet. That is a massive failure.

He didn't go Secco on this club though, raping the transfer kitty and securing players on huge contracts long term. If he did something similar, and the results on the pitch were lacking, then I'd see a lot more reason to call for his head. I'd certainly concede it seems like he struggles to pull off major deals and take bigger risks that other sporting directors would make, but this is still Juventus made by Marotta and Conte. It would be impossible to defend any transfer of Bendtner though. He might have made good signings but there is a spot open in the Juventus starting XI and he didn't fill it (yet, it's still too early, 2 more days...). Asamoah, Isla and Pogba will have good Juventus careers. Juventus aren't even close to being the laughing stock of Europe, you can't compare the situation now to that of 1-2 years ago. It's ludicrous.

I'd actually be happy to go through everything in much more detail once the deadline has passed. This all seems pointless, the club was linked with Berbatov, Llorente, Floccari and Drogba over the last 18 hours. It's too chaotic.

Calling for Marotta to resign after building this fantastic team is just wrong. Dude did it while not paying more than 20m for anyone. He did an amazing job. He has just failed to deliver a quality striker and the last piece that Juventus needed. Being disappointed in that is not controversial.
I'm proud of you, Suns.

Last season we had possibly the best defense and midfield in Europe, very much thanks to Marotta there's no denying it.

However, it was clear from the end of the last transfer market that we were in need of a 20+ goalscorer following the departure of Trez. So a year on, still in the knowledge that we are without this type of player, here we are two days from the deadline without said player.

Marotta has to be commended for the purchase of Asamoah that much is unquestionable.Buying Isla however, although he's a quality player, didn't make a whole lot of sense considering the amount of capable cover we have in that position. Paying out the fee we did for Gio too was fairly questionable considering he was our player.

He's got two days to pull off a miracle, one which I cannot see him doing. He won't be entirely to blame if it doesn't happen taking into account the current market climate, but he will have to share a considerable amount of it.

Its not a question of size. If we hypothetically had an agreement with RVP in personal terms, then we needed to offer Arsenal the 30m we offered for JoJo on Monday, at the time this link first came about, if we didn't, we needed to take this same offer for Higuain, or approach JoJo and DV before giving him the time to reject the idea and building a team around JoJo. What we did misted was bide our time, not looking st specific characteristics, but e best bargain. A deal we could get on our terms. That's only going to take you so far in the European market.
I like how you are talking about rumors like they are facts.
