Marotta can land Serie A feeder team players like Asamoah and Isla, but when it comes to the quality players within the other top leagues, he is inept. You see, landing players from other Serie A clubs is easy if you're Juventus... where else will they eventually end up.
Just like the last few years have been considered "building a base" for personnel, hopefully Marotta will be "laying the groundwork" for a more "shrewd and competent" businessman.

I see AC, Fake Melo, and the usual suspects still defending Marotta to the death, as if they're on his payroll or some shit.
We need an attacker, and not just anyone FFS! We need a quality guy up front who can score goals, as well as contribute to the overall play. So far, Marotta has failed in addressing this issue, and it's a Fucking BIG ISSUE, because it's the most pressing and urgent need. He has over 24 hours to turn this shit around. Otherwise, the end to this Mercato (after such a promising start) would constitute an epic failure.
Regarding youth, with the exception of Pogba and Marrone (who was already here, so we can't count him as a purchase), none of the others have done shit to warrant them being called good or promising as yet.
Oh, and he's a giant douche and an effin idiot for actually trying to piss Fiorentina off. Now if there was a slight/remote chance that we'd be able to get JoJo in future, it has all but vanished thanks to that moment of idiocy.
