While I still think Beppe has a surprise up his sleeve, hats off in advance. Good mercato in a difficult time for Serie A (take a look at Milan for instance, they have a reason to be mad).

Giovinco, Lucio, Pogba, Isla, Asamoah and Berbatov while keeping every single important player is a mercato I'd rate 7,5 to 8 of 10.

It's not outrageous at all to think Marotta should be fired, and that's the right thing to do IMHO, Conte saved him last year and that's all.

How many times he failed, he enjoyed throwing names right and left and we end up with freaking Berbatov, we were ready to sign Bendtner, last year he wanted to sign Andreolli on the last year of the Mercato, he overpays for mediocre players and don't want to spend for the best players, he sucks with the media, he takes too long to sign a player......;;

Good post. :tup:

2012: Giovinco, Lucio, Pogba, Isla, Asamoah, Berbatov
2011: Pirlo, Lichtensteiner, Vidal, Barzagli, Vucinic, Matri, Quag plus all the great youth players

:lol: Yes, lets fire Marotta for building a foundation last year to get us an undefeated season under a strict budget in a tough time for Serie A and completing the team & depth this summer.

Look guys:

Llorente: Bilbao wouldn't budge
Dzeko: City not selling
Jovetic: Refused our offer
RVP: Out bid by Manchester United
Suaraz: Contract renewal

What the hell did you want him to do?

Berbatov will bring us more goals than Matri and for only 5m. Save the money for a future striker at a club willing to sell for the right price. Marotta is runningn a tight ship, we are the most financially secure club in Italy, why compromise our long term growth just to pay an overvaluation for a player?

What experience does Nedved have to be the Chief executive officer of the biggest club in Italy?

Do you really think all Marotta does is to sell and buy players?

Just because Nedved is a legend, doesn't mean that he is capable of running Juventus as a club. Look at Lazio, hiring their former player Igli Tare as a high level boardmember. Look at the situation they are in.
