We are saving a little money on their wages, but the most important thing is that Iaquinta and Motta will go somewhere else and play, meaning there's a chance of teams being interested in them in summer. How the heck were we going to get rid off them if they didn't play at all? They would stay here out their contracts.

As always, you are looking for that WOW factor purchase, but it is certainly more difficult to do so in January than in the summer.

All the good happened with the guys going out. Those coming in were not better than the ones they replaced. For depth, Pazienza, Caceres, Toni > Padoin, Caceres, Borriello IMO. Good job with getting all the deadweights out at once. Even if we are paying part of their salaries, we've given them some game time elsewhere thereby making them more saleable in June.
Would rather stick with Pazienza/Toni instead of Padoin/Borriello as well. I don't know Padoin, but if what people are saying about him being a natural LM, this move has sticking with the 3-5-2 written all over it. And I honestly don't like it. I'm not really sure if I should praise Marotta for this, but well done by not overspending for the Nainggolan guy.

Its not difficult to get rid of a striker that cost us 22mil and left for 0.5 mil. Only reason we were struggling to sell that cunt amauri was we were actually hoping to get some cash outta his useless ass.
What so impressive about getting rid of toni and Iaquinta?
Are we still paying a part of the salary of some of these guys?
