Um... It's not easy to ofload a player who very avarage and gets a lot of wages, big clubs don't want him and small ones, cant play the wages. It's very hard to offload such a player, specialy when such player is a cunt and dont want to play but just get his big fat check.

oh and "aguero" class player -
Again, its only difficult when we want to get paid for the transfer. They way Conte let amauri rot on the bench he would have happily accepted if we simply just released him.

Released? You mean pay him to leave? How many small teams are able to afford his wages? And how can you sell if he doesn't want to take a paycut and is willing to be in reserves?

We terminate his contract,we left him go for free to whoever wants him or whereever he wants to go.

Among all the fags marotta managed to get rid of amauri was the only one being difficult but that was during the last summer mercato where he thought he might actually get to play once in a while. Conte did not even let him train with the first team, let alone play and the fag was desperate to leave.

I dont think mid table clubs would have said no to paying amauri's wages if they get to sign him for free, that's exactly what happened with the purple rats.

Terminate contract? I'm quite sure it isn't for free, at least you will have to pay what you owe. So terminating his contract is easy, selling him is not. You make no sense whatsoever.

We didn't get rid of most of these players we mostly loaned them out (it's likely that some may still return to us next summer).

We pretty much made 0 from selling the once that we actually sold, how is that considered an achievement ?

I've said before this mercato ever started that the main position that we need a player in (to help us for the rest of the season) is a quality CM, our 3 main CM's may get tired or injured so we desperately needed someone to cover that position without us feeling the difference (yet we didn't get that player) except for a random guy from Atalanta who happens to cover pazienza's place !

I honestly don't get what all the excitement is for ?

I agree with you on the need for a quality cm, but there was no way we could have gotten one for a decent price in this winter mercato. the fee for naingolan was madness and i'm glad we didn't go for it. Giach and Marrone will do for now as rotational players for cm positions.

i prefer to wait for the summer and then see what options open up. a quality CM and a winger are top priority next season.

Got a sneaky feeling that we will still overpay for naingolan in the summer !

I didn't like Secco from the very first season for us back in serie A and now am starting to have serious doubts about Marotta too. I think sooner or later Even Conte (being the direct and bold guy that he is) will clash with him. It may take a while but it will happen eventually.

well if we finish in top two and the clash between those two happens, i'm sure agnelli will back conte.

marotta's job is on the line here. after all his contract expires in summer.

edit: i hope agnelli follows the epl route and hands direct transfer control to conte.

He's apparently the greatest talent of Ajax's academy and they are really pissed off at us for signing him.
Is this going to turn into another Barca and Fabregas thing? :p

A decent mercato; nothing too spectacular. I'd give it a 6/10. He got rid of the deadwood (mostly on loan though), bought in a couple of promising youngsters, and a useful utility player in Caceres.

I don't understand the purchases of Borriello and Padoin tho, more so the latter than the former. At least Borriello is a loan with no obligation to buy, but 5 million for a nobody whose sole asset is his versatility is just meh!
