No matter who Marotta brings, Cronios will always bash his moves. I'd like to see Cronios as our director to see how many WC players he can bring with our available budget.
not true, i praised him for the Licht transfer and i would be pleased with the deal, even if he didnt do as good as he did (the performances are up to the coach) the deals up to transfer director.
And from all our possible transfers Marotta has concluded the ones i rejected the most.
I took my stance since they were rumors and had a similar stance as long as they were at the previous teams, so no one can accuse me of that.

But above all, what i detest the most is the investment of all our resources on the exact 2 positions (CM and SS) and the lack of investment on proven starters for the defense, particularly the LB, in the past 7 years.
It is not my fault we are keep repeating the very same mistakes again and again, without any hope of ever learning anything from them... (with Marotta repeating Seccos mistakes)

...

So we still have Grosso, Amauri, IQ, and Toni...can't seem to get rid of our trash, but we can sure as hell loan out our youths and buy Borriellos.

Hopefully our deadweights accept their demise and leave.

Cronios has a point. This market we all knew above all we needed a LB and Marotta can't seem to find one with his approved price tag. I'm not saying Caceras is worth 11 million or 13 whatever Seville want for him but he's probably the best suited for Contes style of play and very much wants to be here and we all know he has the right mentality to be successful so just pay the extra cash and get on with it. We are very thin in the back and we have been very fortunate that Chiellinis absence isn't against a Milan club Roma udinese etc. after Caceras who's there? Kolarov? Who's definitely not on the cheap? Bocchetti? Both Don't match up to what Caceras can bring to the team. I will never understand how he thinks a back up CM is more priority then a LB but it seriously looks like non of our dead weight are going to leave because they're wages are ridiculous and with 17-16 days left in the market Marottas ability to negotiate a buy or a sell hasnt. improved at all obviously. If he doesn't bring in Caceras personally I'm going to be very disappointed with my head shaking because his deal should of been done atleast a week ago. CL qualification and potential scudetto is worth a lot more the a damn 2 million euros.

"his deal should've been done atleast a week ago."

Well, for me, this quote just sums up the Tuz. Just a bunch of knowitalls, who, I bet, have been in tons of negotiating situations, especially with pennypinching presidents of Sevilla FC.

I'm getting ready for another 4 year break.

I liked that part, as if forum members know the intricacies of the budget Marotta has to work with. And that he shouldn't be cautious with how he spends the money.

That's really a one-dimensional way of looking at it. I think that had Marotta not made so many poor decisions then we would be an even stronger team than we are right now, regardless of how well we do this season. Yeah you can credit him for getting us where we are or where we're going, but we could get there much faster with a more competent GM. With Marotta we may very well have success at least in Italy but I doubt we will succeed as quickly or efficiently as we could. Do the ends justify the means? No, because the more mistakes made the more money we lose, money that should have been allocated in a way that is conducive to the quality of the squad. Moreover, its still unknown if Marotta can bring world class players into this squad and if he can't I don't expect a complete Juve revival or success in europe.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the finished article.

Lol. I loved that part too. Just once again proves no matter what Marotta does, he will get criticized. He doesnt offer enough money he's a "penny pinching tight ass", if he offers too much "fucking over spending moron"

And yeah of course some random forum members are privy to the budget and restraints he is working with. Of course.

1 miillion euro for caceres on loan will be a good deal for our push to CL qualification and scudetto . I hope it's not a must buy option, so we can monitoring the situation to take the option or not.

Guys my previous post was my opinion and mine only no need to dissect and comment on each line for immusment. Im not all against Marotta and no I have not been in player negotiation but I have been in many million dollar investment and property negotiations so no I don't think throwing away 2 million here and there is smart but that remark on pay and get on with it is just assuming that that 2 million is all that is in the way, in reality Im 99% sure there is more to it but again my opinion and I went with it so if you don't agree say I don't agree no need to pick and comment like your high and mighty on a damn forum.

The bottom line is that Marotta is out of his depth at a club like Juventus. He might be good for a Sampdoria or Genoa, but he is most definitely not competent enough to be the sports director for a club which harbors serious ambitions and aspirations of competing both locally and internationally.

Marotta is ok for now, but definitely not for the foreseeable future. His knack for relieving other teams of their garbage is sickening and disgusting in equal measure. Borriello, and now apparently Behrami as well? Bochetti if we fail for Caceres? Palombo because we are unwilling to pay up for guys like Guarin or Radja? Not even an attempt to acquire Tevez, when we could have obviously used someone of his immense quality? His deals, particularly in January reek of mediocrity; stop gap solutions! It's always quantity over quality when given the choice. You don't win titles by penny pinching or going for the next best option when you can't get what you want.

He's adopting an Indian Jewish philosophy in his transfers; being cheap, trying to get whatever you want for the price you want, and a lack of willingness to compromise when it comes to quality.

Did he come to the match? Didn't see him in the stands.

I hope he'll do something brilliant before the transfer window ends. After the draw we just can't lose another point, so clear that we need at least one big quality player to change the game.
