OMG, the Elia transfer looks dumb now because we're undefeated and don't need him. And also because the guys he signed for 500K and 3M turned out to be useful players (Esti/Giach).

If we choose to re-sell Elia we can still get close to his value I'm sure.

Martinez was unjustifiable however.

And bonucci add Elia and we'd be throwing 36 millions out of the window

We could just opt for less players of greater value and quality, we were only playing in 2 competitions.

Exactly, at the time it seemed that Conte wanted to load the squad with wingers for his 4-4-2, but when he decided that the 4-3-3 was the way to go, maybe one or two of these extra wingers have become redundant.

But yeah, I think it's still a bit early to write off Elia. The signs aren't promising ATM, but who knows what will happen with that twitter loving bastard.
But, we are not playing 4-3-3 we use wingers, not the trident, its more like a 4-1-3-2 with those 2 lateral CMs coming up to help the two forwards.

I have do far seen nothing from Giacharini (?sp) to suggest he is useful

Marotta puts away Juve chequebook
By Football Italia staff

Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has warned fans that the club won’t be making any big game signings during January.

The Old Lady have been linked with a number of new elements, but the club official has eased expectations.

“The club made some significant investment in the summer and I don’t think we’ll be making any more,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Saying that, if there are some opportunities, like Andrea Barzagli last year, then we’ll look to take advantage of them if we can.”

Centre-back Barzagli, 30, joined the Bianconeri from Wolfsburg for an initial transfer fee of €300,000 as he had less than six months left on his contract.

While Juve may not buy after Christmas, they are expected to sell – starting with unwanted striker Amauri.

“We spoke to him last week,” Marotta said of the reported Tottenham target. “He wants to find a new club as soon as possible. We just have to find the right buyer.”

The former Sampdoria director also again denied speculation that the outfit could sell Milos Krasic after he lost his place in the first team.

“At this moment in time he is not demonstrating the value that he has, but he is a strong player and he’s proved it.”

Fuck this shit. If we can't invest in January, then don't invest at all. No need to buy shitbags like Boshitty, say we are set come summer, and miss out on better players. We are a quality CB, quality LB, starting RW in the trident, a Pirlo understudy, and possibly a striker away from being a truly complete and competitive squad. Are we going to make all these acquisitions (which will be significant in a financial sense as well) in the summer? I think not!

It's Montolivo that he'll be alluding to.
