Just got off the phone with Marotta - he's been looking through player stats on Fifa 11 trying to find a LW - he's confident of landing one before the transfer window closes

From Vargas and Bastos to Giaccherini and that new latin player who i'm not even able to remember his name.

Secco was one of the worst sporting managers i've ever seen, and though all his signings were average and useless like Almiron,Poulsen,Tiago..etc but atleast they were known to me unlike Giaccherini and the latin player.

The question I'm asking myself is how are we going to get a world star player in a Juventus jersey again with Marotta's philosophy? Obviously signing a current world star would cost a fortune and we're clearly never going to pay that and the other way would be investing in a young player with exceptional talent who has shown all signs of becoming one of the best in the world, like Sanchez or Hazard. I just don't see any of those two scenarios happening with Marotta and his philosophy. I just think the fans have very, very little patience left and bumping your chest over a signing like Vucinic isn't going work anymore. The fans are many and they are used to a certain type of standard player wearing the Juventus jersey. And money doesn't seem to be a problem since they clearly have no problems spending loads of it.

Gia is a bench player and not our solution to LW. Why the hell are we STILL being linked to Malouda, Farfan and Elia then ?

Marotta's contract ends in 2013.
