Aguero most likly choose the money and better team maybe :) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...o-causes-Manchester-City-rebellion-wages.html

villareal pulled rossi of the market as they didnt need to sell him.

cant see that there is a need to explain anything
There is a need to explain why Melo--I wasn't sad to see him leave--went on such odd terms. Is that deal with Galatasaray the best he could come up with? We might as well have kept him?

Pepe, Motta? Why did we buy them? If the original deal was an obligation to buy after the loan, why was it a loan at all and not just a purchase?

Well Giaccherini of course. Why? And why not Pasquato? Why loan/co-own Pasquato as seems to be inevitable?

What else am I forgetting? Somebody help me.

It's a lot of why tbh.. i still believe we won't reach anything we want with such a management, people talkin' like we are poor or something and i don't think so.... we have very good money to build a strong team but we spend money on the wrong buys and waste money on the wrong sales.. people got to accept that.. there is a reason for every why u ask about. and it's called

BAD MANAGEMENT

:) wish i knew...my personal guess for melo is that conte didnt want him, and there was little interest in him. i think he would be bad for the teammoral to have a player like melo on the bench.

all the loan deals i think was for accounting reasons. we had already paid a good deal of money for pepe and motta, so paying to keep them, might make sense. As squad players i think the are alright.
hope conte knows the players he gets, and know how to make the most of them.

i just cant help but trust conte :)

If Conte's supposed to some great man-manager who gets the best out of his players, why couldn't he do it with Melo? As I said, I'm neither here or there on losing Melo, but we didn't gain anything by it. He is better than Pazienza for sure, so if we couldn't make money off of him. Keep him here and let Conte motivate him.

Pepe, Motta: Just because we paid a bit for them initially doesn't mean we should keep them because we stand to lose more in the long run. Ever heard of the sunk cost fallacy? http://youarenotsosmart.com/2011/03/25/the-sunk-cost-fallacy/

I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt over Conte, but if they cannot provide a proper squad for him, then guess what, we are "doomed".

lol, u wont give him one serie a match, before u judge him?
We already gave chances to Ferrara, Zaccheroni and Delneri, and look where that got us.

When this club finally realizes the importance of having an experienced good coach at helm to achieve results, I'll start giving chances.

The law of averages says that if you keep hiring shit/unproven coaches, one has to turn out to be decent eventually. :p

some players are impossible to controll even for the best managers, maybe melo is such a player...A pissed melo not playing regulary would mean his value would just be lower. pepe and motta could still be used as bargining chip in this transfer window or later. I dont think we overpaid by much for either pepe or motta. We need squad players also so its not the end of the world to have them in our squad in my mind.

we paid 2,6m and 1,25m for the loans of pepe and motta. than we paid 7,5m and 2,25m to make the moves permanent. i dont think thats too bad.

I hope for the sake of this club that'd be the case.
Hopefully Conte will at least be given the chance to fail by himself, rather than being given a squad not suited to how he wants to play (like Ferrara and, to an extent, Delneri).

Looks like Marotta is at least trying to get the right type of players for Conte, even if the quality of them is open to debate.

Melo's value would be lower? Lower than the fee we received from his loan? Come on.

You're really trying too hard. It's not only about the fees. They are just bad players who should not be on our squad.
