That's why I don't tip the waiting staff.
Me neither

I've had many friends work in the service industry and I tell them all the same thing -- why should I pay you for simply serving me my order? I would rather tip the chef who prepared my food.

And then theres the bartenders. don't get me started on bartenders. Leave the attitude at your other job and just take my fucking order and make my fucking drink and shut the fuck up all while doing it with a smile on your face.

So basically Marotta can never be praised.
Not for simply making good, prudent, signings that actually improve the team.

Again, thats his fucking job. Unless you're implying that he was in fact hired to only approve free transfers and sign shitty players all the while actually making the squad even worse. Because if thats the case then you should praise him and then tell everyone how it was.

Hmmm, I see others getting praise for doing their job. But still, I won't call for a chorus, he has a lot to improve.

At the same time Moggi is to be praised and worshiped even though he "only did his job".
It's ok, whenever Juve get back to winning ways there will be a lot of people getting praise, whoever might be at the club then, that's the nature of football. In the end everyone in football is just doing a job.

Guys in my opinion everything you were talking about in the last 20 posts or so has been laid on the table by Manchester City & Arsene Wenger. The guy put in bluntly - if they can get away with a sponsorship deal that is double, triple or quadruple of its the market value all the FFP talk by Michele has been pointless and everything in football is back to square 1. There are a lot of European powerhouses that simply cannot compete with Qatar or Abu Dhabi in terms of financial strenght. Those people are basically free spending terrorists. Everytime anyone goes to the petrol station there is an 60% or bigger chance he is feeling the pockets of Man city, Malaga or the next team bought by those people. The mega house that Agnelli was in italy is nothing compared to the liquidity this guys have. So Marotta or Moggi - wouldn't make any difference. Sooner or later they will buy him as well.
Hell I would go that far and say that Real Madrid and Spain cannot compete with them as a nation.
If they decide to do implement the FFP ... then there is the realistic chance we will become one of the premiere european clubs and certainly the top italian club much sooner than anyone expects. Besides - with Berluconi's penalty (500 mil pounds?) he might not be such a free spender in the future - maybe he would have to sell another daughter to Ibra :)

People who support marotta are basically fine with mediocrity, marotta would only manage to get praise at a mid-table team.

I will drop to my knees and blow marotta while i look into his good eye and praise him as much as moggi IF marotta can help us achieve half of what moggi did.

I understand what you are saying but that doesn't explain the overall failings at the club for several years, just smaller incidents like being gazumped for Dzeko and possibly Agüero. Juve did buy champions before Moggi and with Moggi, that is sure, but we were smarter and had a keener eye to develop players around 21-23.
