How do you know that?

And those morons back then are the same morons now who hired this clown Marotta and you're now implying that they are still not trying to destroy this club?
Salvatore already explained it.

Kind of. Elkann backed off because of the fans, he was losing the club and he needed to put Andrea as a mascot to protect himself. The money injection was a bit forced as well, he needed to act. Now, he can't do much more than what he did after calciopoli to keep destroying Juve. Inter's sponsors deals and the weak defense in the case is already gone. As long as he keeps supporting Juve with some money, I'm fine with that.

I don't buy conspiracy theories about Marotta, the guy is just incompetent, that's all. Too soft for backstage dark moves.

AKA left because he didn't agree with transfer strategy.
Who would?

Tiago and Almiron? Really? REALLY?

AKA who would blame him
Exactly

So by Elkann "backing off" and injecting money you think the club has made a turn in the right direction? We are in a worse situation now then we were in 2008.

I'm not for conspiracy theories either and yes, I do agree that Marotta is simply a moron but the people who hired him know better and they are milking this club for every penny before actually making any move to improve it and restore it to its former glory.

I didn't say that. And no, I don't. This project is rather clueless and all this "big name" talk just proves it. It's pointless to give money to Marotta, but hey, the guy who choosed Marotta doesn't give a fuck about football. It's more because of that than the theory of destroying the club just for the sake of it. What he had to destroy, he already did.

I would like another owner, yes, if you're going to ask me.

He left.
You must be unfamiliar with the PR side things.

What is the logic to spend a season in the lower league and then quit knowing that you will be coaching the club in top flight next season??

The best way to explain this is that 'he went quietly'

If Marotta get's us the players we need in this Mercato I am going to spend every second that I am on this forum berating and snidely rebuking anything the haters say, unless they apologise.

I will be the first to apologize, a lengthy apology too but I am saying that because I am confident I won't do it.

Because he disagreed with the vision of those in charge of running the club, and it wasn't the first time it had happened either?

The coach is one who decides what players his squad needs. The GM's job is to go get those players. I'm not going to apologize/praise someone for doing their fucking job.

The thing is that Marotta is getting all the criticism because he is not doing his job and not expected to do his job.

Incorrect

management had already been casting lines out there for a new coach to replace DD in early April of 2007. Uncalled for and completely unprofessional. But then again, thats the least of our problems.
