What harm did he do by saying what he did anyway? What players/managers/directors say to the press isn't always their honest opinions, you know.

Considering the players don't seem to bothered or motivated seems like the players don't have faith in his tactics, so it really doesn't matter what stance the club takes. The results speak volumes & him talking trash only infuriates supporters that in turn leads to many "fans" losing interest in the club & spending their money on some other club.

Completely right. For all the talk that goes on results are what count, Marotta and DN have had their year and they have failed to deliver in that respect.

I really haven't watched Wolfsburg this year, but I'm pretty sure the turnover in their managament is of paramount importance when discussing why that team is in the shitter. I have never been a fan of Stever McClaren.

Regardless, Marotta comes off as a reductive, self serving moron in his statement about the Diego transaction. There are a whole bunch of issues at play regarding Wolfsburg's struggles, and anyone who's familiar with our club's situation from the past few years should be able to recognize that.

the season isnt over so you guys judge his work at the end of the season and i believe and hope that we will reach the cl. he made some good transfers actually. quagla, aquilani, matri, bonucci , storari, barzagli were all good transfers. martinez cant be judged he played not so often but in ps3 he is good. pepe, motta will be sent back hopefully also here we can see beppe made a good deal to take them on loan. and i remember how some members hailed the acquasition of motta. so which transfer was a failure? i was also sad when he sold camo, trez, diego but thats life. diego didnt fit in del neris system quagla was the replacement and was a succes. in my opinion we should all support this guy and hope that we will reach the 4th spot and give marotta more time to prove himself. he is not moggi and will never be but some critics are really silly.

So far he failed on Rinaudo, Motta, Martinez, Trezeguet, Diego and Giovinco's deal. Rinaudo was an insignificant mistake, Motta could do well but done wrong and Martinez... well, that was a terrible mistake. He also overpaid Storari and Bonucci. So, in general he has done good deals and with a few sum to deal with, but...

What's scaring me are his low ambitions and the names he is talking for the next summer (he can always surprise me but I don't think so). Ahh, he also has the DN's problem. If he doesn't fire him at the end of the season then it'll be the great and unforgivable mistake he'll do. If the clown stays, Marotta can gtfo aswell.

Didn't he cost 5M? That's quite a sum for a 33/34 year old player that probably would play just half season. The best option would be a loan.

Whatever, Storari has done very well for us and it wasn't for him that Marotta get screwed.
