haha i would go for jorge. martinez showed some skills when he played, its just that he was unlucky this season with his injuries. so jorge deserves another chance but pepe is just pepe, running around like a headless chicken.
We should start calling you Jorge instead, seeing as you've made as much appearance as he has with your 89.75/year posting

Martinez all the way, Pepe has shown us what he's capable of and the only thing he's capable of is being a bad player. Martinez has been hurt by injuries and I'd rather take a chance on him and see how he'll play when he's fit than keeping Pepe.

For me Pepe is way better than Martinez , at least Pepe fits better in 4-4-2 .

About Bastos he is not W.Class , but he is really good better than all Serei A LW (Maybe Vargas is better than him) .
I would take him he also can play LB i know u dont like him like LB but also Maicon can't defend !
As for "Champions" that interview made me happy , Marotta doesn't considere Vucinic Champion , maybe he will get someone who is better .
And he saied 2 champions so Beck/Bastos + 2 champions :tuttosport:

At this point in time, if we tried to sell Martinez we would probably only come away with enough to buy Pepe - roughly in the range of 7.5M, or so.

It's generally not a good idea to purchase a player and then sell him at a loss after one season - he's had a ton of fitness issues, and the team has generally been a complete mess. There are a lot of issues in play here, it's complicated... but I think it depends a great deal on our next coach.

If we end up playing a 4-3-3 next year, Martinez could provide depth that we would otherwise have to secure on the market. Considering we've already spent the cash, I wouldn't mind seeing this guy given another chance.

It's an absolute joke that he was bought as a 4-4-2 winger.
