I know this. But you said he had average talent.

Aquilani was seen by most as a very astute signing at the time. And he started off very well with us.
I didn't say that Aqua man has average talent, I said that Marotta drained the clubs money on average talent, that talent include most of his signings, the likes of Matri, Motta, Troare etc...
P.S Despite all his talents I don't consider Aqua man a good player, he's just above average, sure he's talented but we rarely see his talents on the pitch.

And even Amauri had a great start to his Juve career, a good start doesn't mean much.

Oh how much I miss Keano. He was a thug, a pure scum a twat, but at the same time he was a real man, a true leader, a fighter, unlike the pussy dimwit playing with the club now disgracing the shirt number 16. :touched: :sob::broken::totti::haddadjunior::totti:
Gattuso > Keane

No, Man Utd went through because Juve choked. God knows we've done a lot of that in the CL.

In Scrabble, he kills him.
The only words Keane can form on Scrabble are: Fuck, cunt, wanker and dick.

Not sure about that. I don't see Gattuso as a leader, Keane was an inspirational figure, someone who's the player looked up for, a player that not only lead the team but drove it in times of need. Most of our players talk about infleuncial Keano was (here's an example http://www.tribalfootball.com/man-utds-fletcher-keane-biggest-influence-career-231296) and how he was always a motivation figure both on the pitch and the dressing.
Gattuso is also brilliant, but Keane has something more into his game, he score more, he is a better passer and he has more drive in him. Sure Gattuso have kept many good players quiet, like Ronaldo in 2007 but I can't think of many performances by Gattuso where he drove the whole team forward into victory (No, last Milan-Juve game doesn't count as he scored a lucky goal and he was average)
Gattuso might be a better defensive midfielder (which I don't agree with but I might be a little bit biased), but I see Keano more complete and has something else into him, a leading character.

You Juve fans probably see it as chocking, we see it as a brilliant performance from our captain.

Anyway speaking of Juve vs United here two another classics:

Good times ; we deserved to rape Man United in that game. Back then we were without Del Piero and a crocked Zidane. :touched: That was what I call a team, not this shit that we are witnessing today  :moan: :sigh:
the 98 cl final against madrid was memorable, all the players had written 1-0 on the back of their hand as a way to intimidate madrid (who back then were undoubtedly the best club in the world) the 1-0 was a way to also remind the team of the belief it had in beating madrid, and i recall raul getting furious at the arrogance Juve had back then. Good times.

Elmander links now! Seriously?! I think the only reason Agnelli isnt firing this clown, is because the new stadium is going to be his final resting place.

Elmander is a good player, but not a great one. Juve are full of good players, the likes of Amauri, Matri, Iaq, Aquilani and Pepe are example of good players, but Juve needs great ones. The difference between good and great players is that great players are capable of taking their game into the next level, capable of performing against all the odds, even when their teammates are letting them down and thrive under pressure. Good players do well with small teams, and do well if their team is playing well, but when thing are not going their way they crumble and fall.
Elmander is not an improvement on any of the strikers Juve currently have, he would do well but you can't expect him to get you back to Europe.
