That was not the only reason, it is the guideline he got from our owners,it was the reason they hired him, just he knew the Italian market and could find and focus such players.

What worried me when we got him, is that we will end up buying only Italians because of that, but because he has some exp, i at least expect him to make good deals.

But paying 20+milfor Matri when we could get Pazzini for less and Cassano for free, losing Diego+Giovinco for peanuts and getting Bonucci for a total sum of 20+mil when we could get Ranochia for free, were huuuge mistakes.

He also failed to produce any decent income or deliver us from some heavy wages on players we own, loan and still paying them!
That was expected, but it would soften the rest of his inabilities...
Overall he has failed as a decent manager for Juve and we need to start looking for a replacement, however he did better than Secco and it is not his fault that Italians do suck right now, but are still so overrated.
It is our owners fault at insisting with them and hiring a man who should have left in a limited but decent club like Samp.
I really don't want to defend anyone but I'm curious where did you read those sums? Matri cost 2.5m for loan and we have an ption to buy him 15.5 at the end of the season. How is that 20+mil? Also Bonucci costed 15 not 20, and I would really like to know why Inter bought Rannochia if he was for free?

Marotta - We had Drenthe but Hercules blocked the deal.

I understand some players we've taken are not Juventus quality but we had to expand the squad and bring in many players.

In the summer Juventus will concetrate on quality players.

Aim is Champions League.

Dzeko would of been ours had it not been for the Non EU rule.

You will be now labelled as a Marotta lover or apologist. Trust me, I've been there and there is no point.

It doesn't matter what you start your post with some members see beyond posts, they know who the Marotta lovers are, who the Secco cock suckers are, who are the ones that truly care for the good of the club and those who are passionate enough.

Oh, what a Secco-like comment. Dzeko would've been us, bla, bla, bla. Like Dzeko was the only quality striker out there during that window for that price. Xabi Alonso, Dzeko, Cassano, G. Millito, all players that were really close but somehow didn't happen. Does it matter that Secco was close to Cassano and Alonso and almost a DD? NO. That's the difference between competent and incompetent, you shouldn't hail what almost happened, but what did happen like signing Nedved from Lazio while he didn't want to give up his house in the best part in Rome.

Everyone enjoys taking shots at us.. what a joke.. some points I don't agree with like Samp not accepting our 20mil bid because we didn't add a player ( I fully believe Garrone did that to us on purpose because of Marotta ) when Marotta said we would do everything possible to sign Pazzini.. we're just becoming too much of a joke for everyone.. even with the whole Di Natale " rejection ".. it's like every article you read they add " Di Natale rejected Juventus in the summer " ( there must be a bet like in Super Troopers were they had to break the record of saying "meow" instead of " now " to the people they pulled over )

Do we really have to believe that this whole BOD are just stupid/incompetent in terms of running a major club or is there some other reason? I have to say, that although the Agnelli family is long linked to this club, they should just sell it to someone who appreciates the club for what it has achieved and what it means to so many fans, if they really are just not that interested in a sporting view. Is there any sort of major protesting/demonstrations happening? yea, so Agnelli is annoyed and he shows it but if he thinks that will win us over and give him more time by showing that he shares the same frustrations as us, then he's wrong. Actions speak. Secco might have had the right ideas ( buying Melo, Diego as "quality" ) but then he was lost and inexperienced so he just did more bad than good.

Calciopoli fucked us real good but, since we just accepted the terms laid down by corrupted officials, we can partly blame ourselves for just sitting back. I know that this is another "beginning" after the last mess, but how many are going to be there after? if all they are going to do is give excuses and " If " scenarios then the whole BOD should just shut their mouths and let their work show that they mean business ( or GTFO is they don't ). I'm tired of hearing the same things over and over and us losing and losing because of these bizarre choices. Yea, we were spoiled by winning all the time but we had every right to be because that's the foundation that we were built on.

:soapit:

Forza Juve, dammit :flag3:

The guy doesn't rate Matri, looking at who he compares him to, so if you don't agree with that then you don't agree with the rest of his blog.
yea, I really don't agree with anything he said ( I should have wrote that ) but it's the fact we are in such a position where everyone is taking a shot at us is what gets me mad. I'm too passionate about this club to have some dick like him taking shots at us ( even the other one where they determined that we made a huge mistake about Cassano because he got an assist in his fist game for Milan ).
