But, but, Italian coaches are all bad and outdated, as has been proven in the last gazillion years? :stress:
You do know that it's Marotta who said that about Del Neri, right? The man who is actually accused of favoring Italians is saying that an Italian is an expert and that the foreign coaches "bring who knows what with them".

He is only confirming that there was truth in the accusations against him.

I'm just playing along, either way ;) Personally I don't ever see the basis to the argument about 'outdated' Italian coaches, the argument itself is the only thing outdated. You look around the league and there are coaches with all different styles.

:agree: Prandelli, Spalletti, Allegri are all Italian and play modern football while coaches like Ranieri who plays outdated dinosaur football can still beat Real Madrid twice and go out with there heads held high against super modern Chelsea.

if we go somewhere decent with this team then im sure with 3 more big names we can win something, but we definitely need big names next season, this way defenders will stop thinking of stopping Krasic 24/7.

Ranieri recently did something incredible with his Roma team. "Dinosaur" football or not, results are what matter, and you can't argue with his last season.

I agree, I wasn't trying to insult Ranieri I was trying to highlight the point that members criticize Italian coaches for their outdated tactics but at tghe end of the day it may not be pretty but its gets results.

I actually think the most under-rated Italian coach ATM is Delio Rossi.

He done great things with a financially fucked Lazio, and he got Palermo to 5th place and made them play impressive football along the way. He doesnt get a lot of mentions around here,

The gap between Inter and Juventus is no longer so wide.

Aquilani? We may sign in January depends how well he does.

Cassano? Is the prince of Sampdoria.

Dzeko? :eyebrows:

Sissoko? We'll have to see the situation in January, is an important player but the option is always open.

So he's gone for sure.
