As a specialist in knee-jerking and obviousness, I feel qualified enough to say that Marrotta & co need to time to be proven right / wrong. In the mean time I think we should merely support the team and the directors. I may not agree with the moves made but this is what we have got to deal with.

We are after all Juve fans, therefore some patience and humility is required...we are not Inter Merda.

If you could care less, then why don't you?
People in General are upset about selling Diego, I am not since he lacks direction in his game and precision. I just think we sold him for cheap and could have possibly made 3-4 millions more and that's what I care about, that we got hosed by Wolfsburg. Marotta was good enough in General except for the price of Diego, Buying Martinez, and loaning Gio

He thinks Dzeko will sign for Bayern next year. Wolfsburg refused to sell him to Juve but he gives them Diego for 15 million. He is basically saying he didnt even get an option on Dzeko for next year. What a transfer wizard!

Diego blasts Juve’s Marotta Thursday 2 September, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus reject Diego has attacked director general Beppe Marotta for his transfer dealings over the summer.

Diego was one of numerous players shipped out of the club by the official after Marotta, who arrived from Sampdoria at the end of last term, was asked to rebuild the Old Lady.

Although Diego was seemingly sold for tactical reasons as he didn’t fit in Gigi Del Neri’s 4-4-2 system, he’s told the Gazzetta dello Sport that Marotta and not the Coach is to blame for his exit.

“Del Neri told me that I was a part of the project in May and also after the Trofeo TIM and that made me happy,” he said.

“However, I looked at Marotta and understood that he was working in another direction. He was doing everything possible to sell me.”

Diego was sold last week to Wolfsburg for an initial €15m, just a year after Juve paid Werder Bremen €24m for his services.

“My sale has cost the club financially,” the Brazilian added. “Marotta doesn’t know how to treat champions like myself and David Trezeguet.

“If Marotta had comported himself in a different manner with me then we both could have worked on a move and Juve would have netted more money.”

Not only did Diego criticise Marotta for his own sale, but he also blasted the transfer guru for his overall mercato strategy.

“Marotta decided to sell me because he wants just Italians and that is the wrong road to go down,” he warned.

“Juventus have made a mistake with their signings, a lot of good players have arrived but no champions.”

Borriello in Rome for titles Thursday 2 September, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Marco Borriello moved to Roma because he thinks there is a chance of winning the Scudetto and going far in the Champions League, according to his agent.

The 28-year-old’s move to the capital has generated a lot of interest, not least because it completes Roma’s already strong squad.

Borriello turned down Juventus to sign for Roma on Tuesday, the details of which his agent Tiberio Cavalleri has moved to clarify.

Speaking to Sky Italia, he said: “After 34 goals in two years, suddenly with Ibrahimovic’s arrival Marco’s future was up for debate at a crucial stage of his career.

“For this reason, he chose Roma’s important project and hopes to repay all the enthusiasm that the city is showing him.

“Borriello did say no to Juventus outright. He had two days of intense reflection. It was a professional decision, but also one of lifestyle as well.

“Rosella Sensi’s involvement in the deal and Roma’s presence in the Champions League was decisive, also because Juve sketched out their plans, but didn’t close a deal in a direct way.

“Juve should have acted in a clearer manner.”

When asked if Borriello will face competition from Adriano, Cavalleri said: “There will be space for everyone given Roma play so often.

“In my opinion, Borriello is different from Luca Toni. He is a player who works for the team. He is a player with good movement.

“I believe that there is space for everyone, both for Borriello and Adriano.”
Whether anyone here wants us to do poorly this season or not, the fact remains that we are going to struggle, and will NOT get a CL spot, let alone a Europa League spot. 10th place will not get us ANYTHING !!!

The above articles just go to show that this MaROTa is a fucking idiot....even worse than SUCKO :(

Honestly, I want us to do poorly so this person can leave Juve. Selling Diego is a massive mistake and this person's philosophy is not something that goes according to what I believe. Yes, it'd be painful to miss out on CL again, but it'd be better in the long run to get rid of incompetent nationalists like Marotta.
SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

Dooz, you can give me an infraction for that.

Like i've said before, we sold Diego so that we balance our books. Marotta can say whatever he wants to the media (that Diego doesn't fit our formation :blah: ) but its pretty clear that the Diego deal happened mainly because we needed cash.
Considering Wolfsburg paid us Diego's entire transfer fee in one lump sum, it can certainly be argued that our lack of funds played a significant part in this transfer.

Marotta's transfer strategy is certainly debatable, especially with the way he left some very important decisions so late in the mercato.

Seriously man, this is an absolutely pathetic comment, and a total loser mentality.

I remember Marotta saying he will take advantages of any oppertunities that may arise in the market so I think he was leaving it late to try and get a bargain or two.

Thats the only reason why he would of left it so late though he should of had alternatives in place.

This is by far the worst post I've ever read on this forum. You should be banned for wishing we lose. I'd negative rep you but clearly the community sees your ignorance on this matter and its not necessary.

If anyone believes that we will go in top 4 next year he is either marotta or a lunatic, which sadly these days makes no difference.
We are playing with wingers, yet we have only 2 tall forwards... Their total contribution cannot exceed 20 goals per season .... so we can probably do 20x 1-0s this year????
I am not much against the sale of Diego, but not by loosing 10 millions on the way, therefore not this deal. Maybe players are not the brightest ones to listen to, but Diego is fucking right. This season is the swan song of Alex, sadly he is old and doesn't have the support to do it for us. And we were paying 12 million for Martinez and sold Diego for 16...? I am all for hearing marotta defend that.
But if we are not planning to go CL anytime soon - it is completely justified.
