People have to remember that this year zero again for Juve, just like coming back from B but without the Champions to bail us out.

Marotta has created a team (maybe not a great one but a team none the less) and now Del Neri will get them to play as a unit.

After that we can review our season and find out what players we want to keep and which ones should be brought in.

Next season if we make the CL then we should expect some big signings.

So everyone get Scudetto out of their heads and remember our goal is a top 4 finish.

If we achieve that this season will of been a sucess and I will celebrate as if we won the Scudetto.

Our objective in this season is only getting a CL place for the next season. Going far in the EL is a bonus. And for that, we have to compete with the likes of "Livorno and Parma". No one would hear what our fans say in these forums but I really hope that our other fans, those who go to the stadiums, will be a little bit more patient than you are.
I only found it funny because some people say we're a top club right now, that's all.

And I'm optimistic more than majority here. I did predict top 4.

While you guys live in a fantasy world where players like Quagliarella, Pepe, Martinez and Rinaudlo are good signings for Juventus let us be sceptical. Also, don't compare us to those teams, compare us to Inter, Milan and Roma. We could have kept Seba and Diego, signed 4 quality players and still have been so much better than this shit Marotta created during this summer.

Also, Del Neri, really? Why? For what reason?

Just to remind you all, it's August 31 :shifty:

FGS, have some patience. At the moment, I have the right to be a lil bit unsure with all the loan deals of Mr. Guiseppe "The Loaner" Marotta. However, we should stop acting like pre-calciopoli Inter fans throwing silly judgements only after the first week of the season.

I think Marotta, Delneri and co. should have an entire season to work in peace.

We clearly didn't have the money for four quality players. Remember Quagliarella, Pepe and Rinaudo have come in as loans for the initial season, €7.7m in total. Looking at our mercato I really doubt we have as much money as people think. Next year if we make the CL it will be a different story, I'm sure of that.

Because the players we brought in are average while we let go of a couple players who could have made a difference. Quag, Pepe and Martinez are not better than Diego and Seba, Aquilani is only available for half the season, Bonucci is good but Motta isn't solid enough defensively, and only Krasic appears to be a solid player. What should I get hopeful about? Why should I think we'll do better than last season with no improvement in personnel and no improvement in the manager?

I don't know how else to spell it out to you folks who live in fairy tale land.

But alright, I'll run around claiming there is hope and we'll get our CL spot and then win Serie A and the CL and we'll sign Messi and all sorts of other great players and everything is fucking great.
Pepe, Martinez and Krasic instead of an injured Camo and an out of position Marchisio? They are not excellent but I'd take that.
Bonucci instead of Cannavaro, Motta instead of Grygera? I'd take that wholeheartedly.

How many games did Giovinco play last season? We didn't lose anything compared to the last season by loaning him out. And we have Aquilani now. I agree, Diego and Giovinco might have made a difference but they didn't last season if we are comparing our squad to the one we had last year. All in all, we have improved even though we are still very far from being a top team.

There is no need to shift from your gloomy world to the one in which we sign Messi. We only have to get a CL place and with this team we can.

Really? Cuz I thought after the worst season in this clubs history we would cut the bullshit and finally see some quality arriving.

Anyway, the best thing about all of this is that I can lower the expectations for the team. Especially whenever we play the leagues two big dogs, Inter and Milan, I shouldn't expect too much.

I agree that it might be better for us, with a little bit less expectation from some areas, although I'm sure the players and many fans don't feel that way. Someone else posted how across Europe in general the spending trend has dropped again (minus the stupid Man City money), with the way circumstances are it maybe is more reasonable to expect a building of foundations rather than trying to build a great team in one transfer window.

If you look at it like then yes fine,Juve has improved, but the fact is,other teams are also improving for their better as well..We are not in CL,fine, but we are in Europa League, and we should always try to achieve the final, even if its only Europa, with this squad, which is an improvement of course than last season, but only by little,do you think we will have a chance at Europa,or do you not want to do well in Europa?
And about the money thing,we didnt get players who are on a high wages, true, but like i said previously,we can always try to get income, from shirt sales, from season tickets, from ads..we did sell a lot which freed some wages, the likes of Poulsen,Camo,Trez,Tiago,Zebina were getting a lot, we could at least have afforded 2 more players on the level of those guys in terms of wages..
I do believe this team is still capable of placing 4th,but there will still be lots of matches that breaks our heart, hopefully not as many as last season..

I just want us to achieve our goal come the end of the season, and unleash a better force along with the new stadium..
Forza Juventus

now thats exactly what is happening, not in a million year would we dream of having a new team, 10 players, and expect results from he first couple of games.
this season is just 4th place, anything more than this is just a bonus.

To everyone who is complaining that Juve wasn't rebuilt into a European superpower in a mere three months, did you put your money where your mouth is and actually contribute to their mercato financially??

I mean, a whole lot of chicken littles on this forum have absolutey no problem referring to Juve as "we" and "us".

Manchester City and their wealth were not able to build a European superpower last season and it remains to be seen if they succeeded this year.
