Amauri is the least of the problems causing us to not win the league..
Last season, around this time of the year we were thinking of playing 4-3-1-2
and our squad would be:
Buffon
Cacares - Canna - Chiellini - De Ceglie/Grosso
Sissoko - Melo - Marchisio
Diego
DP - IQ
We invested a lot money up in that squad, results never came. Because of three reasons:
1. We had no coach
2. 4-3-1-2 aquires good fullbacks ffs, which fullback did we have? Investing 25 mil in Melo and not in a fullback? Sissoko or Poulsen could do that job.
3. Last mercato, we didn't strengthen our squad. We made some signings, but everyone knew from the ranieri era, the defence and rotation was our weakest spots. I remember the Chelsea game, when Hiddink just took over, he didn't knew shit about his squad, the guy was a coach for one week. But yet he beat us and said that he only could do it because we played the same thing for two years.
and that coming from 4-4-2 with Ranieri
