Not necessarily. The idea of spreading the payment across installments is to reduce the amount of money you spend in an year. What I mean to say is that money isn't kept in the bank from last year's budget to pay for all the purchases made last year. The payments that has to be made will figure in our budget this year. For example, we are going to pay 2.5 million of Pepe's deal out of our budget this year, 2.5 will be paid next year from next years budget, so on and so forth.

Kinda

But there are credit/debit scenarios that come into play as well. Budgetary planning and asset management are the foundation

I disagree.

In the last game only 3 players were Juventini: Chiellini, Cannavaro and Iaquinta. And since Cannavaro is not a Juventino anymore, I'd say only Chiellini and Iaquinta. two players who did not play badly at all.

Marchisio was played out of position, camoranesi and Buffon hardly played.

To me that seems like a really good price.

Did we actually MAKE MONEY on Molinaro? We got him cheap didn't we? If so, he WAS good for something afterall (correction: he was an OK defensive back, not what we needed though.)

I Used to be pumped about this kid, but really - not sure this wasn't the right move.
