Tutto Sport has an interesting interview with Roberto De Bellis is Juventus new fitness coach. His team has already done a great job on the players' records and the conditions in Vinovo. He also reveals interesting details about Martinez speed. In the match against Sampdoria, he ran 12 km at a speed higher than 20 km / h!

It sounds impossible.
Because 12km at speed 20kmh takes 36 minutes and in game there are 90 mins.
And average distance for a match is near 11kmh.

So up to now:-

Tiago-5.5 Million
Ariaudo-1.5 Million
Almiron-2.5 Million
Molinaro-3.5 Million

Sales:- 13 Million

Storari-4.5 Million
Pepe-2.5 Million
Martinez-13 Million

Purchases- 20 Million

Net Spend on 3 players- 7 Million, very good in my opinion.

So in actual fact, Martinez and Pepe can be backups ;)

How can selling under value ever be very good?

As much as I appreciate getting rid of someone like Tiago, if you're gonna do it for that amount, it's really not a good piece of business.

It's probably nothing more than a rumour anyway...

Because what if no other club comes in for Tiago? then your stuck with a player that does not want to play with you and your still paying his wages.

But we didn't sell Tiago nor Ariaudo or Almiron. And Molinaro's price was 3.9m

@ our resident Mancunian: That is true. But that doesn't change the fact that you're selling a player for less than he is worth.

So even though it may be necessary to sell under value, it can never be a "very good" piece of business.

I like it.

I agree with the second part aswell but I think with Tiago it's better to get something than get nothing in 12 months time.

He was saying that he ran 12km overall during the game with his top speed during the game being clocked at 20kmph.
hahaha
12km is average (ok, not average, it's usual best distance in any team).
20kmh is lower then usual top speed. (fox example according to fifa.com after the first half of Italy-Slovakia Italy's top speed is 26.2 kmh from Chiellini and Criscito.) Btw 20kmh is Italy's average, and 23kmh - Slovakia's average.

It doesn't quite work like that, as were still paying for transfers from previous seasons. The majority of our transfers are paid for in installments.
