What happen with his eyes?! Car accident or somethin??!
Who remembers this guy's magical step when he brought Recoba on loan from Inter to Venezia before 15 years and sent that club to Serie A?

And in his time, Sampdoria shined again. To bring Cassano for free from Real was not that easy, and to bring Pazzini with only 9 million is a good move.

He also brought Palombo for free.

Whatever he does, he will be better than those who were managing the club in the last few years.

You think bringing a bench player from Fiorentina for 9 mil (I'll take your word this was the sum) back then was an incredible move I have to disagree. Also, signing free agents and Pazzini caliber shit players is one thing - overhauling the squad and building the future for the biggest club in Italy is another. I wish him luck though.

Pazzini was/still is one of the so considered young strikers in Italy, and when Doria wanted him they weren't the only ones pushing for his sig, IIRC Lazio was there too along with Roma. So getting him for 9m and seeing how that deal went out to be, It's pretty good one.
