indeed.

so then the question becomes why cant he sell the dead weight. now you may think why does it matter...but it does matter because (Zacherayah approved) our buying budget inlcudes player sales.

yet not single sale has been happened.

this means higuain, jovetic, tevez wont happen.

marotta, not even once

Just an example: He sold Diego and Krasic for a combined fee of 22,5 million.

Now Iaquinta, Amauri and Melo were all tougher to offload, as they are very poor players on huge contracts.

As for our current strikers, they're not even officially on the transfer-market. They are obviously rated a lot higher by the club than they are here on these forums. I believe we'd push one or two of them out the door if we were to really get close to signing Higuain or Jovetic. In such an event, I have no doubts Marotta would be able to pull off the sale.

Exactly, there is no way we would sell 3 of our strikers anyway. At most I can only see one striker leaving (hopefully Quagliarella), clearly the coach and club rate our players higher than the experts on this forum.

I get the feeling some members just wanna see something happen in the mercato.

Just buy

Just sell

Almost everyone has lost complete interest in Llorente and I'm sure many of them don't even realize that it's because he didn't cost anything in transfer fees. I bet we wouldn't even talk of getting a top player upfront right now had we signed him for 20 million or something of the kind.

We have a great team. It's dangerous to tamper with it too much. Yet all I hear is: Sell Marchisio, sell Pepe, sell ALL our strikers, sell Lichtsteiner! Even the stadium, some say.

I'd love it if we could sign Higuain or Jovetic, but it's not the end of the world if we don't get them. We already have a great team, and it's made even better with El Rey Leòn.

We don't even know if we are after him. And if we are, I think we should have a little patience.
