The Bendtner move didn't bother me.

Juve needed a fifth striker and, if there was no-one good available, he was better to sign the cheap, short-term option rather than burdening the club with a mediocre player on a longer term basis.

Same reason I don't have any major objection to the Anelka move.
Because you're not a Juve fan.

Well we should start looking around for striker 1-4 before being ok with bendtner being striker no 5

correction we don "need" a fifth striker, what we have needed for years now is a starting one, and this guy has failed in all his attempts to get one

Maybe. :D

Let me rephrase, then: signing Bendtner wasn't a bad move.

Is that not what was going on when he was trying to sign Van Persie and Llorente?
Yes but he failed... So he tried to sign a starting striker and ended up with a bad 5th Choice striker... Thats says it all

Exactly, the reason most are upset with Anelka.
Nooooo!!! Anelka is striker no. 6 so no need to worry ;)

I completely agree with Red in this discussion. Don't get me wrong, I had to do some soulsearching after the Anelka-move, simply because I dislike the guy. But both signings (Anelka and Bendtner) were low-risk, low-cost signings that were made to have a 4th/5th striker in our ranks. Anelka is simply filling in for Bendtner, who was unfortunate enough to suffer a long-term injury.

I also stand behind your statement, Red, that Conte should've played Matri a lot more this season. He's important to our way of playing, and he will score goals pretty frequently if you just play him. At Juventus, he's only a couple of goals away from having a goalscoring ratio of one goal every two games. What's even more impressive is that he hasn't played the full 90 minutes in a lot of those games.

I could live with bendtner and Anelka even when both are 38 to be striker no. 5 and 6 if we would have some strikers that are actually good enough for juve...

Firstly, Jem, for fuck's sake, stop with the The Society thing, it's stupid and annoying.

Secondly, you guys should light a joint and relax, all this kneejerking is ridiculous.

Thirdly, if you think Marotta has not done well enough and think his contract should not get extended, well who would you replace him with? That's not an unimportant factor to consider.

Fourthly, I just love how people like Jck say that we're doomed and that we won't win the scudetto, as far as I'm concerned there are a lot of games left to play and we're up by 3 points.

It has taken way too long for Marotta to sign a proper striker and now he finally has by securing Llorente for June. I think he has done well overall but he really needs to sign a quality SS in the summer, otherwise I'll be extremely disappointed.

I dont get the point of telling People to stop kneejerking or who should replace marotta... Why can't you just critize someone or discuss a Point without These Post. Only cause he made some mistakes doesn't make me jumping and screaming around for his replacement...

My Mom does criticize me alot doesn't mean she wants another son

I am glad that you love it but I didn't say we're doomed, I simply tip Napoli for the title, if you consider that as doom then you are a very passionate fan.

Also I never suggested replacing Marotta, I actually like many of his deals.

The ironic thing about you is that you constantly complain about Cronios but you're nearly as pessimistic as he is most of the time.

That was more addressed to people like Cheesio.

Most people's beef with Cronios is that 1) he's obviously trolling and 2) constantly contradicting himself.

JCK does none of those things. And besides, who can blame any juventino from having a pessimistic side after having gone through 2006-2011?

Maybe I am pessimistic but what I complain about with Cronios is his theories about nationalistic agendas, CMs and SSs. The first corner thing and the losing the Coppa final intentionally. The rest I agree with some and disagree with some.

You're fine, I like you but you seem to read some of my posts and ignore a bigger chunk. I've seen you comment about me before and I also thought it was a distorted image.
That may well be the case.

However, I think that my comment about relaxing is a relevant one, I've read some of the threads today and it is as if there was a massive apocalyptic zombie attack going to destroy mankind.

Well the first corner Thing was funny as fuck though... How the fuck does One come up with such an idea?..hilarious
He also said that I shouldn't comment about Greece's financial situation because unlike him, I don't live there.
