One of the best, not the best thou.
We have done very well in the viareggio tournaments in the last decade, winning the most recent edition...our primavera team is clear at the top of their league group in the primavera championship, and we are now through to the final of the primavera coppa italia. We were doing excellently even before christmas, and since the new year over the last couple of months we have added in two players who arrived at the club with very strong reccomendations, Gabriel and Buoy...the latter especially. How well we do in the latter stages of the championship, when we have to play against the highest ranking teams from the other two groups, remains to be seen, and I have no idea of the talent amongst the ranks of the other leading teams...
its not just our primavera which have been doing exceptionally well, its the younger teams as well. I thought that we were winning every youth league but one??? That in itself suggests we are doing better than most other clubs, in regards to our youth sector.
Perhaps JuveJay can help me with this????? but...
The 42 teams are initially divided into three groups of 14 teams each. After the regular season, 16 teams in total qualify for the play-off stage, on home and away basis. The eight best teams qualify for the Final Eight on a neutral venue. The winners are eligible for the Supercoppa Primavera.
how do they draw 16 teams from 3 league groups? And what happens if we win the league, and also win the coppa? do we play then, the losing finalist in the coppa, or second ranked team overall from the league's second stage knockout section?
