thats nice. would you agree then that moggi deserves no credit for his deals and that all credit should be given to lippi and trapattoni?
Moggi had ample experience before joining Juve. He managed to procure Maradona for Napoli, and he guided them to two Serie A titles. Moggi was crafty, sneaky, and experienced. Marotta is a novice compared to Moggi.

For the billionth time, Moggi did NOT sign Maradona when he was GM of Napoli. Moggi arrived at that club in 86 or 87, a couple of years after Maradona signed.

Corrado Ferlaino brought Maradona to Napoli.

a huge gamble, not a stroke of genius.

nobody can truthfully claim to have predicted Conte's success even though it is fashionable to do so now.

Marotta gets raped for Del Neri. Gets no praise for Conte. :sergio:

What is with the irrational hatred for this man? We are fucking 1st place. And he is one of us.

could ask you the same, why the irrational love?

will call it like I see it, you cannot disregard so many previous failings for one good (half)period.

and its still all up in the air, we were 2nd place at this time last year as well, the real test begins after the winter break.

about the whole marotta-amauri thing. ive got a few questions. did marotta try early to sell him? what i mean is did he prioritise getting rid of junk? it seems he was more keen on acquiring and assumed selling amauri would have been piece of cake. what were these asumptions on? Also correct me if im wrong, but marotta should have publically announed amauri on market. words in media play huge part and i dont think he made it clear or marketed it enough.

marotta did a good job cleaning up the mess, getting us a competitive squad with dept to build on.

No doubt he'll get a new contract and thats a very good thing
There is still a mess on the left side, we are playing a CB as LB and a CM or ST as LM
Marotta after all those years have failed to do anything about it.
He has also failed to minimize loses from Secco acquisitions, as he was unable to make a minimum profit from Tiago and Amauri and he is probably going to waste the investments on Martinez, Melo and Krasic in a similar way.
He has failed to avoid repeating the very same mistakes Secco did and is still unable to bring more quality than quantity.
