so far i found marotta to be just an average manager.
he still makes a world of difference from the multimillion disaster called secco.
But apart from the occasional bonucci deals, marotta also seems at having trouble at selling players for a decent price.
Every average manager can buy a krasic class player grom a cssk class of team, with the right sumt at his hands.
Marotta seems to be more potent in italy, as the new age juve will focus, after droping completely our international flavor, but i m worried that even in italy marotta cant make the difference at well, as teams like genoa, bari, parma and bolonga seem to be able to make us agree with their terms...

Semi-disagree.

Marotta can't sell our players because of their wages which he had absolutely no control over. He can't help it if other clubs don't want our trash or older players.

Plus, he is strong in Italy but also not letting Juve get bullied in Europe (yet)...so give him time, besides, maybe he is worrying about the budget or just waiting till the end to make a grand slam finish. He can up the price anytime he wants, so as of now I get the feeling he is just playing the field, getting his feet wet before going full in.

He has the rest of this month to up his bids if necessary, nothing wrong with playing hardball. I am worried a bit about this Martinez deal, I am curious to see how he does this year with 12m to his name.

marotta has many valid excuses for our current situation, only a great manager would minimise damages with co deals of our unwanted player.
but losing our young talents halves for penauts while still keeping the deadwood 2-3 weeks before the transfer window ends doesnt look anuthing special.
All i m saying is that hr is just an average manager that csnt pergotm the miracles we were expecting from a pro manager of the old juve's class.
Thede days are over, we will just have to settle with this level now...
Lets see if some day we can make a similar leap onwards, like the secco to marotta one!
But before we start building, we need to repair secco's mess first with an average rate and not the optimal we hoped...

let me give you a better one:

''giovinco alone should cost more than bonucci.''

There were times when teams full with talentsn like arsenal were drooling for him and where ready to pay a decent sum for him.
Why did we kept gio if we never intented to give him a chance then?
At this point its the worse possible .oment to negociate his price, either be full or half of it.

As for bonucci, yes jack, he will be if he doesnt deliver like a 20mil plus, of a player.

Your first statement was fun, now it's just lame.

Cronios does have a point in regards to Bonucci-Giovinco.

We buy Bonucci for 15.5m eur and we sell Giovinco's half for 3.5m eur, which means that Giovinco's price is ~7m eur. More than half less than Bonucci.

Now, if we were the ones buying Giovinco and selling Bonucci, I doubt that the figures were going to be the same. So far I see absolutely no reason why should Bonucci be so much more expensive than Seba.

I understand the big club buying/small club buying differences, but there is an unbelievable and unjustified difference between Bonucci's and Giovinco's price. Despite the fact that Seba spent two years benched in Juve, I still believe that he should be valued higher than Bonucci.

Giovinco's low value is probably a combination of his inability to secure regular playing time under three separate managers, the big club/ small club situation as you mentioned and our board's clear desperation to get rid of players quickly.
