He's beginning to lose his way a little bit now. Giaccherini and Exteberria, both unnecessary, with Pasquato and Pepe. If indeed he wanted a good deal, he could gave Bastos and Malouda under 20m. And our wings would have Malouda, Krasic, Bastos and Pasquato. I understand the salary quotient, but saving on Aguero had to allow for some sort of quality. Also I don't think Alves will be enough, we need three quality CB options - one of Alex and Lugano are a must. I just hope he doesn't end up hoarding his average choices again. Also, this was supposedly the quality bringing season. We've bought a whole new team again. It's just such an unstable precedent set by a guy who is fighting to stay in a high end job, that he doesn't seem to deserve.

If that comes true that would be a window and a half. But honestly I think we will get Malouda, considering Marotta's comments about him and he isn't a €40m player. However, I believe he will come at the expense of Storari. If we keep Manninger and Bransecu begins to fulfill some of his potential we should be fine. He looks like the real deal so far.

Man, you have 11 new players arriving. That is so ridiculously bad for continuity. How many players did we loan/buy last year? Something like 11? It's fucking ridiculous that we're turning over our roster like this. It wouldn't be a "window and a half"; there have been enough new arrivals these past 2 years to fill something like 7-8 transfer windows for a lot of clubs (as in almost 4 seasons, or so).
Not that we should spend money just for the sake of spending, but frankly, quality players in this day and age generally do not come cheap. Marotta hasn't brought in a single player at a cost of more than 15.5M (I suppose Matri's valuation with half of Ariaudo, or wherever that other 2.5M came from was 18M, but you get the point). How have we not bought even one accomplished/marquee player for 20M+? Big clubs simply do not operate like this.
It's just crazy.
