How do you guys feel about this 50 million deal for Icardi? It seems a little cheap for a player of his quality in today's market.
add 5m psg already paid for the initial loan, plus there are 7-8m, allegedly easily achievable bonuses. well over 60 altogether. not bad for a bad apple they wanted to sell, and especially with the inevitable coronavirus price cut.

Up to 63 million for a player they publicly stated that they don't want. For a team that already has a striker more suited for Conte's needs (Lukaku)

With no market right now to set this against, this was a really good deal for Inter.

Why nobody mentions he's been the best forward in Italy for the last 5 years, he's only 26 and has already scored plenty of goals for PSG too.

So if that is true. If what EVERYTHING you are saying is true, then why did the overwhelming majority of people here on this forum NOT want him here?

And in the last 4 years, Immobile has 24 more goals than Icardi. And does much more outside the box than Icardi as well.

And this is coming from one of the very , very few people on this forum who wanted him here.

And no one here wanted Immobile. So what does that tell you about the overwhelming majority of people here on this forum?

But that's really not my point though. A lot of the same people who are saying that this wasn't a good deal for Inter are the same ones who didn't want him because of all of his off the pitch problems and his attitude.

So Inter got up to 63 million for a player who has been on the outside looking in for a year, in what could very well be a severely depressed transfer market economically, and they already have their replacement.

Regardless of the fact that he is 27 years old (1 month older than Lukaku, by the way), and regardless of his individual success the last 5 years, Inter wanted NOTHING to do with him. Everyone knew that. PSG certainly knew that. Yet they still paid that much for him.

Now imagine if we could sell players like that, where everyone and their grandmother knew that we no longer wanted them.

Ironic though since it took Marotta moving to Inter to finally learn how to sell LOL

Would you have been happy with the box faced troll leading our line? Really? Immobile is great for a team like Lazio - he's in his element. He's a relatively large fish in a mid-sized lake, and that's where he belongs. Now, you ask him to swim out to the ocean with the tunas, whales, dolphins, orcas, and sharks and he'll get decimated.

I'd love a striker that is consistent at getting 25-30 goals again. Don't care who it is.

Please watch Immboile for Italy - he's pathetic. I want quality World Class players - Immobile isn't an A- lister, possibly a B-lister. No thanks. Inzaghi scored a lot, but he was a piece of shit. I was so glad when we disposed of his ass and trusted the attack to DP and Trez.
