What does that have to do with what I just said?

This whole "No-names winning silverware" thing isn't a brand new practice
It was something I was thinking about. We signed Caceres twice and he wasn't a relatively household name so when I saw your post I thought about it more. In any case, players like Giach ordinarily wouldn't be found in a top 5 team, for example. Yet we found a few along the way who were able to contribute. Good management I suppose on the touchline to ensure they were useful.

It's nothing surprising they would, except Zazas form. For one it's complete new starting attack so they have to score, and for another it's a duo consisting of accomplished striker and one of the best young attackers in the game by far. Neithers output is surprising, just that they adapted to things and each other quickly after regular time together.

I voted it a 6. Due to lack of AM purchase (Hernanes and Cuadrado are duds) and replacing Vidal with Khedira being quite underwhelming.

It's a blessing the 3-5-2 has been an amazing crutch. But clearly it's not the set up we were planning for. Allegri often says he wants his quality AM and he should get it to fulfill his vision fit the team.

You really underestimate khedira's leadership and experience.
It's more more important than allan's fancy tackles.

I don't, he is intelligent with his forward movement and has excellent technique. But he rarely makes himself felt in defensive tasks (bit slow) and seems more like to get through the motions instead of make his stamp on the game. His best effort defensively was couple games ago when Marchisio was suspended and he was playing next to Hernanes. Worked his ass off and harassed opponents. But otherwise in general he keeps things moving and joins attack. For these regular games it's OK, but for big games we will need that extra gear he doesn't seem capable of much to dominate. His experience is key, but in certain game makeups it's not enough. Unless it'd the game plan to sit deep and wait it out.

“He is a talented Coach and has popularity, we are happy and he proved himself to be up to the task despite a difficult start,” Marotta told Mediaset Premium.

“We are very happy with him and believe we can go forward with Allegri. It is an ideal rapport between him and the club and him and the team.

Pogba and Dybala are two interesting young players, the greatest satisfaction is having them with us as assets for the club. They are spectacular players and we want to hold on tight.

“There are three players whose contracts expire at the end of the season: Caceres, Patrice Evra and Andrea Barzagli. We have a great rapport with them and over the next few weeks will decide what is best for all concerned.

“They are three great professionals who have given a lot to the cause and we’ll evaluate their situation. One thing is certain: Caceres will not be leaving in January.

“We have a big squad and will continue with this selection of players, so we don’t have any particular needs on the market. Our objectives are not available mid-season.”
