Coman doesn't escalate the mess though. The biggest damage is done already with Tevez and Vidal leaving. Coman never really mattered here and he'd never make it ahead of Dybala, Draxler and Cuadrado, let's be real.
sure, but he offered a bit more balance to the squad. Coman was struggling as a SS, but still, Cuadrado definitely is not one and I don't think Morata fits it. We have only one, and it's Dybala.

Squad is unbalanced, players characteristics don't really mesh well.

Yeah but without an AM it's even worse tbh. Starting 11 AM > Coman.

And we still need vice-Marchisio.

Who cares if our ownership made extra money? Since we had enough for Draxler anyway this money we got for Coman isn't being spent on the club. I suppose if its obligation it will come next year so we better spend it next year. I don't like the decision tho

Let the people who are not convinced by Marotta come up with a name for our new DS? Who should we appoint and why?
No one will ever do that. And no one would fire Marotta. They criticize but in the end they all know who is responsible for putting us where we are today. When it comes down to it, yes, there are mistakes made but the totality of the "project" is a success.

Maybe after this year things will be different as I don't see a way for us to top last year's success.

We got him for 0 euros and we get 28mln a year later while he has shown almost nothing, yet people losing their minds.

Saying that this deal is as strange as it gets.
But apparently I am the biased one who defends everything Beppe does.

But when they complain over an absolute robbery of Bayern like that, who really is the biased one?

Well Marotta didn't get 2M for Llorente so the 28M for Coman means nothing. He doesn't know how to sell. Personally I didn't want to sell Coman but to get 28M for him surely should be a point against the "doesn't know how to sell" crowd but it will never be acknowledged.

Still don't get why would they pay 28mln for him.

He could become the next Ribery, but until now he has shown nothing.

TBH I was expecting a loan to Sassuolo or Bologna.

I understand the reasoning for a lot of our decisions but I disagree with a lot of those decisions.

I would have kept Zaza and left him off the champions league roster. But if there wasn't going to be room for him to make the champions league roster we should never have got him.

I would have kept Coman and got Draxler.

And I would have kept Padoin and kept him off the champions league roster.

If someone else got a long term injury Padoin could have replaced that player on the champions league roster.

And I would have primarily played 4-3-3 and 4-3-1-2 depending on who was in form.

I think the handling of Zaza and Coman was a mistake

The same people who want Beppe's head on a pike were the same ones last season saying that we should loan him out to Sassuolo or Bologna or whatever. Saying he isn't ready, not good enough, nowhere near the same impact Pogba had etc.

Now potentially selling him for €28m is a terrible idea. Does my fucking head in.
