Obviously we're going to bring another midfielder, The Lord himself repeated this on numerous occasions. But this current team is still an excellent one and could win Serie A and reach CL QFs at the very least. Our starting eleven is stacked with quality and we have great depth for every challenge that might arise during the season.

I was thinking of mentioning the classical off-season suggestion of buying a good CB (Benatia) and moving Chiellini to the flank.

Goetze, Benatia and Mascherano. Even though it will not happen.

Don't think we need a cb though. Covered quite well in the back, i'd say. No need to disturb the understanding between Bonucci, Chiellini and Barzagli.

Top AM, a top hardworking CM and extra bonus with dynamic top fullback, to be real contenders IMO. Cant be so with a team that will have Sturaro and Pereyra starting, and overworked fullbacks who arent good offensively and will be overworked.

Yeah, the first two I agree. The third, as you say a bonus. Pereyra would be ideal as 12th man. But I could also seem him wide in a different formation or wide in the 4-3-1-2, like Camo did once upon a time. Not behind the strikers.

Gundogan is much more likely to be sold next summer IMO. he was supposed to be sold this summer since he had a contract until 2016, but he renewed for one additional year with an increased salary so they can keep him for this season, because they didnt have a replacement for him, so they can still earn something next summer instead of him going away for free
