y dont we just wait till the season starts before we start talkin shit about the players

i lol at the crystal ballers in here

those who play football on paper

proven players can flop just as much as 'unproven' ones

i understand the hoe in certain members they want shiny stuff to play with even tho they may be unattainable not just for pricing reasons

i prefer to watch football....alot of u complaning now defended the atrocius and uninspired ball played under Conte recently

points record or not our teamplay sucked serious ass
I don't think anyone has predicted that a player will flop or is talking shit about the new players. It is mostly complaints about what paleyrs have been bought instead, prioritisation in other words. Many members see that instead of these high risk, high cost players bough could have been replaced with low risk high cost established players or one established player that easily makes a difference with the team.

Per me:

Coman 7/10, potential 10/10 (low cost)
Romulo 7/10
Morata 6/10, potential 8/10 (high cost, buy back clause)
Pereyra 7/10
Sturaro 6/10, potential 8/10 (investment)
Evra 8/10

Fair. We need that first team improvement though, then I'll be happy with the mercato.

Seems pretty accurate, and add to that the fact we offloaded several older players for a decent fee.

We wont do that. First of all the starting 11 is very high quality, so it would be hard to improve it.
Secondly, with the new coach, our board seems to postphone that kind of deals to next year. Wich is good, considering in normal circumstances Conte should have at least made QF CL with this team.
We simply put the foundations. We have 2 stand in wingers now. We potentially have a starting one with Coman and Berardi.

Our mercato needs a CB and a 5th striker and we are done. Not that i would mind a trequartista comming, but i'm beeing realistic.

Wtf is this shit? Are you being fucking serious now? We practically got Pogba on a free. He was a low risk high reward scenario. Moreover, had Pogba failed, we would've still been able to sell him for a few million (at a profit) seeing as he is still very young.

Pereyra is still young (not as young as Pogs obviously), but he isn't a low risk high reward scenario. We got him on a loan with option (which I'm pretty sure will turn into an obligation, as Marotta stated it himself) that might end up costing us 17-18 million Euros.

Hence, Pogba didn't need to be a proven acquisition at the time of purchase, considering we got him for practically nothing; that is, unless you want to buy proven players for free. In that case, may Allah be with you.
I trust our scouts, every risk can't be "free".

After straight line and Janet, I'm ready to love again.

Overall right now is a solid 6, perhaps a weak 7. If we get that AM/TQ that will allow us to easily alternate between formations, providing more flexibility and reduced predictability, then our mercato becomes a solid 8.

And if not it goes down to a 4 or 5 which is what I give it at the moment until we get what I am wishing for.

So, the people who are telling everyone that Allegri is crap and a recipe for utter disaster, want our board to take significant financial risks wich could make us end up like Milan if the coach is indeed crap and a recipe for utter disaster ?

Interesting.

what financial risk?
With the current mercato, we will still be at slight loss if we reach QF CL.

If we spend another 25mil+wages, we will have to reach QF CL, or we will be at serious loss

People who think allegri is shit need to think wether they want us to take that risk, knowing to avoid forced sales, WE MUST reach QF CL if we make the purchase.

Instead of spending 20mil on Morata, 8mil on Romulo, 17 on Pereyra, we could've spend per exemple 30 mil on Griezmann and it would be a much better mercato than this one.

Mercato that won't make any real difference in where this team is going. Gets a 4 because nobody is breaking into the starting 11 and same issues from last year still exist.
