I remember when there were all the debates on how good Marotta really is. Two of the questions were that if Conte was to leave, would they be able to adequately replace him, and would the squad that Beppe assembled still be as strong as Conte made it look.

If Allegri manages to secure the title and get us to say the QF in the ChL, will Allegri be praised for doing a better job than Conte or will Marotta get the credit for assembling the squad?

How did he fail the first? Conte left without notice, just walked out on us in the first days of pre-season, and didn't leave us much choice. I really don't like Allegri, but I don't think we could have done better considering in what shit Conte left us.

Might be a little early for that call, unless we are just speaking about prestige and names, of course. In that case 'he' failed when Conte was appointed.
