I'm comparing Pado and Tacchinardi based on beeing very selfless players, huge workrate for the team, and allways knowing what they can do, and be very reliable

And I agreed with that. I was merely implying that Tacchinardi had more talent and he was a key player in a winning team full of champions. Padoin, while having similar characteristics, doesn't even come close to Tacchi's importance in the team at that time.

We have been unable to rotate on the midfield because the lack of players we have..yet Padoin doesnt get playing time.

I think isla is getting playing time now because in the winter break im pretty sure that Marotta and Agnelli gave COnte orders to bring more exposure upon Isla, as teh dude needs to be sold and we must find buyers who see that he is still active.

Sucks for Padoin, but well thats life. At least he is in a very famous team living the dream of many footballers around the globe. You cant ask more than that sometimes. Maybe he will ge more playing time on the wings next season if we change formation to a 433 for some matches... as one of the reasons i dont see conte using him is that he is not well fitted for a wingback, but also is not a box to box. He is just a workhorse who would work better with someone covering his back

I fully understand where Zach is coming from in comparing Padoin to Tacchinardi if you consider the roles that they play on the club.

I just hope you weren't comparing them player for player, Zach.
